Minimalist locale turning out homestyle Mexican dishes, as well as take-out options.

This restaurant was very unassuming from the outside – the party I was with almost didn’t go in. I’m SO glad we did, because all of the food was flavourful, perfectly spiced, and were served in hearty portions.
As someone with a gluten intolerance, I was able to safely eat the majority of the menu. I ordered chicken as a main, and was given fresh corn tortillas to accompany the dish. My thoughts about the flavour can be seen by the POLISHED OFF plate. I couldn’t get enough of that sauce! The sparkling water I got was also presented beautifully, and the salt was an excellent touch! I found the service very friendly.
My only complaint would be the interior is not very inspiring, but that didn’t bother me once I tried the food.
Overall, very yummy!

Food – Flavor!
I had the Chile Relleno and my husband had the Green Chilaquiles and WOW! Everything was seasoned to perfection. The rice and beans were cooked just right, and every bite was packed with flavor. The cheese pull oooofff!!! The platanos were cooked to perfection.
Coffee –
We tried the Mexican Coffee, and you could honestly taste the love in every sip. So good!
Service –
The service was amazing. Our server was so kind and attentive she felt like family! As soon as we walked in, she made sure we had a clean, dry table before seating us. Little things like that really stand out.
Drinks –
Even the infused water was tasty and refreshing.
Overall, everything from the food to the service was a 10/10. Can’t wait to come back! ❤️

I recently had the pleasure of dining at La Fonda Mexican Restaurant, and I can confidently say it was one of the best Mexican dining experiences I’ve had in L.A. we ate hear right before driving back to las vegas and they were surprisingly open at 10 pm
From the moment we were seated, our server, Adrian, made us feel completely welcomed. Adrian was exceptionally great throughout the entire experience. He was very attentive to both our table and the overall flow of service, always checking in at the perfect moments, answering questions about the menu, or offering recommendations, he handled everything with professionalism and genuine warmth.
The food itself was outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every dish came out promptly, hot, and exactly as ordered. Adrian made sure we had everything we needed to fully enjoy our meal, and his attentiveness truly elevated the entire experience.
It’s rare to find service that stands out this much, but Adrian absolutely made our visit memorable. If you’re in Los Angeles by LAX and looking for delicious Mexican food paired with exceptional service, La Fonda is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be returning!

This is my second time here, I would come more often but I live about 75 min away from here. The first time I came it was a few years ago, I can’t remember, what I ordered but I remember we ordered a few things and I didn’t finish my ceviche because I was so full. But it was good and I was so mad I left my leftovers in the hotels mini fridge. This past Sunday we got the chilaquiles, sopes and rolled taquitos. Everything was really good. I was so happy to see that you can order breakfast at time of the day as it was dinner time. Cane was our server, super nice and made our experience/visit special. We will be back, hopefully sooner than the last time. Forgot to take pictures as I had not ate all day and had a concert to make it to. But if you must know, get the green chilaquiles, sunny side up eggs, with steak, ask to please add onions. Get the chicken rolled taquitos and ask for the spicer salsa. So good!

Unexpected food place in a non-descript parking lot with a genuine Fonda/tavern look and cuisine. The food was appetizing and reasonably priced, we ordered a few quesadillas, fish tacos, and a campechana seafood cocktail – all better than expected and with a homemade taste.
While wandering around during an evening with t he family, we were happily surprised at this restaurant and the decor on the inside is also unexpectedly and fitting to a Fonda. We will definitely stop by again to enjoy some food, the only thing it needed was live music (though good job on the 80s latin rock playing in the background)

We had just gotten off the cruise ship and checked into our hotel before lunch, so we googled a restaurant near us. The reviews for La Fonda were spot on. We were seated right away in a cozy, clean, simply decorated establishment. The menu offers much to choose from, food and drinks. The self serve cucumber water is a refreshing touch. Our waiter was attentive and the service was efficient. The chips, salsa and bean dip are house made. Such a great way to start the meal. I wanted to order more but wanted to have room for my burrito. My husband and I split the al pastor wet burrito. On a whim, I ordered the guacamole and am so glad I did. The fresh ingredients added that extra something to the burrito. Out of many Mexican restaurants to choose from near LAX, La Fonda would be my go to if we lived here. Excellent food and service.

I would recommend trying La Fonda of Inglewood. We started with Steak Nachos, and they were appetizing. Next, The La Fonda Bowl with added chicken and grilled veggies was tantalizing on the taste buds and full of flavor. We also had the Chicken Taco plate that was satisfying. If you’re not paying attention, you would drive by this tasty gem.

We have eaten here quite a few times. Luckily, it’s usually not too busy in the late evening, otherwisewe would have taken it to go. Food is always great. The chips and salsa and bean dip are always nice to start off our visit and meal. I also appreciated that they turned down the music so it would not hurt or aggravate my ear injury. Staff is always kind and welcoming. Give this place a try next time you are in the mood for Mexican food.

This unassuming place has the most friendly staff and the yummiest food. It’s a very welcoming environment, no frills, fair prices, and everything is delicious! We loved the bean dip they start you with, the guacamole was really fresh, and the enchilada verde packed a kick! The cucumber and lemon water are also nice touches, can’t wait to be back
