The Poop Deck Bahamas.
To tell you the truth, it wasn’t bad. I wasn’t sure what to expect, being a New Yorker and kinda accustomed to the finer things… I told my wife, you know baby, we could do this. The view to the boats and harbor was beautiful with the Majestic Atlantis Resort in the backdrop. We had the fresh catch of the day, Red Snapper and were delighted. it was blackened and delicious. It was served whole and seems to be for 1 not so hungry customer. We shared some salad and appetizers and were happy with all. We didn’t drink any alcohol, we had dinners plans. By the way, the Poop Deck name sure is strange unless you’re adept in your ship jargon! See pics for Poop Deck meaning.

Took my mom here for lunch while we were on a cruise stop. This place has it all—beautifully cooked food, a great view overlooking a small marina, incredible servers, and strong tropical drinks.

We started with the conch chowder. It’s tomato-based, not creamy, and it was excellent. The conch fritters were cooked perfectly—no idea what they put in them, but they were seriously impressive.

We shared the blackened snapper next. Juicy, flavorful, and clearly fresh. It came with rice and peas, and even though I didn’t plan on trying them, once I did, I couldn’t stop eating.

We finished with the guava duff. I didn’t know what to expect, but it’s a bread-pudding-style dessert that was incredibly well made and absolutely delicious.

What a meal. I’d come back here again and again without hesitation.

A Romantic Bahamian Delight at Poop Deck – Nassau

We had an unforgettable dining experience at Poop Deck in Nassau. The setting was pure magic—romantic and serene, right on the deck overlooking the water. The Bahamian cuisine was absolutely delicious, full of fresh flavors and local charm. Rakelle, our server, made the evening even more special with her attentive and friendly service. Everything was perfect—from the food to the ambiance. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy authentic Bahamian dishes in a dreamy waterfront setting.

Friendly and kind staff
Near Marina and downtown. Walkable over the bridge too.
We ordered daily catch whole snapper (grilled), conch salad, seafood platter and they all came out as expected.

Poop Deck on East Bay Street is a must-visit for fresh seafood, great drinks, and an unbeatable view. The restaurant sits right on the water, offering a beautiful marina view, which makes for a perfect dining experience, especially at sunset.

The food was delicious. I had the conch fritters and fish fingers, both cooked to perfection. The conch fritters were crispy on the outside and packed with fresh conch inside. The fish fingers were tender, flaky, and full of flavor. The sides were just as good, with sweet, perfectly caramelized plantains and creamy coleslaw that balanced the meal so well. Everything paired perfectly with an ice-cold Kalik beer, making for the perfect Bahamian dining experience.

The service was friendly and efficient, even with how busy it was. I visited on a Monday night, and the place was still packed, which speaks to its popularity. Despite the crowd, the staff was attentive and made sure everything was taken care of.

If you are looking for great seafood, an amazing view, and a lively atmosphere, Poop Deck is the place to go. I will definitely be back.

Ordered a whole red snapper. It was a fun experience picking out the exact fish we wanted. Came with two sides, we got fries and coleslaw. The fish was seasoned very well. Coleslaw was dressed well. Fries were okay. The spicy sauce was very spicy and citrusy, I liked it.

It’s right on the water. We come here every year we stay in Atlantis. Beautiful walk back over the bridge to paradise island.

Hands down, must visit for Bahamian food. Seafood is fresh and well prepared. We had the fried grouper and Mama Mary’s Grouper. Drinks were strong and excellent, and not watered down. Conch fritters were good and can taste the thyme and celery. Service is excellent and often a hit or miss on the island. The view of course, is amazing. I highly recommend this establishment to potential diners.

Ate a late lunch here on a Monday and it was some of the best food we had on this trip so far. There’s a nice view of the marina. We went with the conch salad and conch fritters. The salad had chunks of conch and veggies which was very refreshing. The fritters were crispy on the outside and came with a delicious sauce. We got to pick our red snapper and went for the blackened version which was season very well. The veggies were definitely we’re frozen so we didn’t eat much of that since they were mushy but the garlic potatoes were fresh and delicious. We also each ordered frozen mango margaritas which we loved.
