There are much better seafood restaurants in the neighborhood. I recommend staying away from this one.
I brought my family here for a small celebration, and although we have visited other locations before without issues, this experience changed our minds completely.
My nephew’s chicken tenders came out undercooked and still frozen in the middle. We sent them back, and they simply refried the same ones and returned them. The shrimp was not cleaned properly, the cups were dirty, and overall the restaurant felt unclean. The service was also terrible. The staff acted like we were inconveniencing them.
They still charged us for the undercooked tenders, even though much of the food was left untouched. I rarely complain, but this was unacceptable. With construction dust and the lack of cleanliness, it felt unsanitary. Save your money and go somewhere else.

We came to eat here but then after being half way done they asked if we could move tables so other people can have our table. My boyfriend still had food on his plate and mouth… (People from the bus Luis Angel del Flaco) They made us feel humiliated, like if we weren’t nothing. First time and last time here. Very rude.

First time trying Las Islas Marias. I know it’s a popular spot and I’ve heard of their food plenty of times before. I finally had the opportunity to try it today and it was delicious. The portions are huge. There was plenty of free parking which is usually hard to find on the northside. The service is wonderful. We were a group of 7 and they sat us right away. The only negative is that it’s hard to carry on conversations with your party cause it’s pretty loud in there. They had musicians playing live music so it’s kinda hard to hear over them.

We’ve driven past this place since forever and decided to check it out. It was a heavily shrimp kind of menu and the only other option was a platter of crab legs but the server highly discouraged us to order due to the crab legs were too thin. I like that she gave us that suggestion and stopped us from a dissapointing lunch. So we order the seafood combo Platter which was good, not fantastic but good. I would try this place again when in the neighborhood. One thing to mention that this placed excelled in were all the tropical drinks on the menu, if you come, come for this. The drinks made me feel like I was on a beach in Mexico they were that yummy .

Place was really great. Came on a Friday night and they had live bands playing. I am not a big fan of seafood but the food was delicious and did not take long to get my order. I would say is a little pricy but a good place with a good atmosphere and vibe to enjoy the music.

I’m giving them 1 star but if I could rate 0 stars I would I waited bout 30 min for my order paid $30 for each tray and when I get home each tray is literally less than half full. So disappointed not going back!

I normally love this place. The food is always good, been coming with my family for the last 20 years but today was freezing inside. I had to express to the kind staff ask them why is the restaurant temperature set so low my food got cold before we could finish eating.
To know that the law is to keep resident al house temp at least 68 and to see the thermostat is set at 62 and lock is ridiculous.
