It’s very odd, considering when I went to pick them up, all the items in the cases for sale looked very nice.
These are not cheap, I would expect a different level of quality for the price.
Cupcakes and cake pop were abit too sweet (Kids words). Just scrape off some of the icing and its good.
Turnovers were wonderful.
Plenty of baked goods options.
Good amount of parking.
Staff was nice and attentive. You can order custom cakes and their prices looked fair especially for the area.
I would recommend and will come back, still alot more to try!
We wanted breakfast, but they stop serving it at noon, so we ordered simple lunch items instead, chicken tenders and a sloppy joe. We waited about 40 minutes, watching other tables arrive, order, and get their food. To save some time when we left I went to the bakery to pick out some items to take home. While I was there I overheard staff saying they were out of chicken tenders and sloppy joes—the exact items we ordered.
When I returned to the table my fiance wasn’t aware and I told him I didn’t think we were going to get our food and he was so confused. Then our server came over, clearly embarrassed, and explained she had just learned the kitchen was out of our food.
She said the owner asked her to apologize profusely and offer us anything else on the house. We politely declined since nothing else appealed to us and we had somewhere to be.
Unfortunately, the bakery items weren’t very good either—most were overly sweet, except for an okay cinnamon roll.
Overall, the place felt poorly managed. The owner should have addressed the issue directly instead of putting the burden on the server and the cooks should have made the server aware they were out of our food instead of making us wait close to an hour for food they couldn’t serve or run to Publix to be able to serve it. I won’t be returning or recommending this spot, that’s for sure.
The burger, unfortunately, was pretty small and tasted more like a meatloaf patty than a burger patty and to top it off it was dry which was disappointing for $15. I considered adding bacon, but at an extra $4, I passed. The best part was actually the bun it seemed freshly made and really good. The fries, on the other hand, were soft and lacked any crispiness. The included cookie was a nice touch and definitely good. On a side note my wife had the club and said it was good.
