First time visit here. Upon entering we were seated by a woman who was gruff and having a bad day. The decor was pretty much the nautical type and quite pleasant. Thank goodness our server was sweet and very helpful. I ordered the blackened perch, house salad with balsamic vinegar and loaded baked potato all accompanied by my favorite sweet tea. First came the really nice salad. Then a huge platter with 3 large perch fillets and a beautiful baked potato. That potato was like heaven. The fish cooked to perfection. And the tea was definitely southern sweet. I was amazed by the quality. This is definitely a place I will return to despite the chilly hostess.

I love Dry Dock because it’s local and a fast place to get fried fish and seafood if you’re doing carry out. The prices are reasonable, considering being inland. The seafood is fresh and worth it.
I haven’t been inside in years to sit and eat, but service still seems to be good inside as it ever was. They’ve always been clean and organized and it has a noticeable family atmosphere.
A note about going in to eat: it gets busy on the weekends during the lunch and evening meal times (around 6pm and 12pm on Sundays, especially) and it gets packed, including the parking lot. Service can be a little slower then because of the amount of people there to eat. Only go during peak times if you can stand large crowds and noise.

If I could leave 10 stars I would!!! This food is amazing and our waitress Casey was top-notch!!! We never had an empty drink and she quickly brought all of our requests! She was super busy and the most efficient server we’ve had in a long time. The owner even came by our table and thanked us for dining there and asked if we needed anything. In today’s world that is very impressive and says so much about the business in the best way. As we were leaving I saw Casey outside assisting an elderly customer and that made me adore her even more! Thank you Lee and staff for all that you do.

I remember coming to Dry Dock as a child after church on Sundays, and I would always order the popcorn shrimp. I can happily say that today’s trip over 30 years later did not disappoint. They still have the best shrimp I’ve ever eaten. Not to mention the service was outstanding. The owner (super nice guy) introduced himself and made sure we had no issues with our meal. The waitress was very friendly and had our needs covered. The pricing was also very reasonable (~$50 for 3 people). Cleanliness and atmosphere, also 5/5. Overall one of the best dining experiences I have had in years. If you like seafood, you owe it to yourself to visit Dry Dock in Siler City. Highly recommended

First time ever coming here to eat. The service was really good, the food also came out pretty quick. The chicken was cooked good and very juicy. I’d definitely come back and eat here again. If you’re going thru Siler city make sure to stop in and check it out.

The vibe and food of Dry Dock were right on! My mom and I went to celebrate a family reunion. The staff were super friendly and warming and just made us feel right at home. They had us in the main conference/wvent room that had plenty of space for us that number about 30 or so. The waitress quickly brought out their amazing hush puppies that were shaped like union rings. They were popping hot and I decided to get their flounder filet with a side of broccoli.
The portion sizes are overwhelmingly large. I double checked with the waitress to make sure I got the regular versus the large. She ensured me that I got the regular and that the portions are just large. Wow! Super large, like Texas sized large.
The food was good as well with everything being super fresh. The one disappointment was the broccoli that was overcooked. It was such a surprise as others broccoli was cooked super well. I think because of how busy the restaurant was everything could not be evenly cooked.
I would come back for more of their food, especially the coleslaw and hush puppies. Be prepared to take home food or share entrees. It is a lot to take in, but so worth it for these prices!

First time here. Great service. Food was great too. I had flounder and it was good quality. Wife had salt n pepper catfish and oyster combo. She said they were great. The sweet tea is how I like it – very sweet! The “when you sit down” hush puppy rings will fill you up! I love them with the tarter sauce! Only way to improve: entrées weren’t very warm when they came. Server was busy so I think they sat for too long. Tea refills were watery since the pitchers sit and ice melts but our server fixed that. Drink cups are very small. Overall All good, will be going back.

I had a large 2 item seafood platter with fried scallops and white fish, baked sweet potato and hush puppies. The seafood was crispy on the outside moist and tender on the inside. My husband had a large platter of jumbo shimp and white fish. All the food was delicious. We also tried the baked potato soup. It was creamy, topped with cheese and bacon. It was delicious! The cooks did an excellent job tonight. Delicious hushpuppies!
