Don’t let the large Kingpin bowling pin sign out front scare you – THIS IS A LEGIT STEAKHOUSE! This place gets excellent reviews because it is one of the best steaks I’ve ever had! We happened to pass through so figured we would try one of their signature dishes. We opted for the super tender and flavorful coffee cured 8 oz filet. Wow! Phenomenal! The steak dinners come with flavorful warm garlic biscuits, a Cesar or house salad (delish blue cheese dressing is home made!), AND one side. I opted to try the “mashed potato casserole” which is basically twice baked potatoes – soooooooo good! We were stuffed but left nothing on the plate! I also should mention the server Amber was super friendly and wonderful! She checked on us often and kept our drinks refilled, despite the place being packed! I highly recommend this place – worth every penny!! And yes, if I’m ever near Lawrenceburg again, I would make a special stop to eat here!

Really enjoyed the food. Service was fantastic, some of the best we have encountered in a while. It was expensive we couldn’t eat here very often but for special occasions it was great.

I ordered the rodeo chicken and was less than impressed. It was pretty on the plate but the chicken had a really weird texture and the rice had a weird and strong overpowering flavor. I got mashed potatoes and side salad with it. The salad was good, honestly the best part of my meal. The mashed potatoes were terrible. They tasted and looked like cheap powder potatoes that someone tried to make fancy with the flavor. It was not my taste at all and not what I expect from a quality steak house. The waitress was really nice and she did offer to get me something else, which I declined, when she noticed I wasn’t eating them.

My mom ordered the chopped steak and baked sweet potato. She really liked hers. I would be willing to give this restaurant another try but you can go to Longhorn and have a way better experience for the same price or better.

The music was annoyingly loud and sharp for it to be 1130 as well. They also don’t have T-bone steaks on the menu which we were disappointed about.

Service was great, the restaurant could have been cleaner, fish was good, but I would have been embarrassed to bring out those hushpuppies. No prices on the steaks everything was marked Market price.

Striker’s steakhouse. It’s really a cool different kind of place and has a big bowling alley attached to the restaurant. My ribeye was good and everyone in our group liked their food.
This ain’t bowling alley food. It’s really good food and a little pricey.

The food was great! Table for four and we hadn’t been there before so we ordered several different appetizers all were great but the stuffed mushrooms were chef’s kiss. I got the Sirloin Orleans, cooked perfect and the crawfish etouffee was outstanding.

I dined in with a friend for lunch. Katie was our server and she was wonderful! I ordered the fish & fries. This is something I order often in my travels. I feel like I can’t truly say this was the best fish & chips I’ve had in a super long time to the point that I can’t remember having it better. They said Marcus (sp?) Was on the fryer & he’s really good. We’ll I believe that as my food was perfect! So make sure to try it if he’s on fry when you dine! We’re crossed the country multiple times rving & I order this everywhere. Great find!

Our server was Landon & he was great, answered all our questions with a smile & cut up with us. He checked on us several times. Very nice young man. Hubby & I both ordered the Rodeo Chicken. It comes on rice & the rice was a little salty. We both thought the chicken was really good. My sides were loaded baked potato & fried okra, they were good. Hubby got loaded backed potato & honey bacon brussel sprouts, he didn’t like the brussel sprouts but I tried em & ended up eating half of them. Very reasonably price. Place was clean. We will eat here again if we are ever in this area. Oh also I had the bread & it tasted like cheddar bay biscuits, it was good too. So glad we went here. Hubby wanted a Ribeye until he asked the market price & it was $40 & he passed. But they are high every where right now. Only complaint is how long it took our food it was about 40 to 45 minutes. It didn’t seem crowded. Our Chicken breast were pretty thick so that’s probably one reason it took so long.

The atmosphere is welcoming and relaxed—perfect for a casual night out or bringing friends and family. Portions were generous, prices were fair, and everything we ordered was spot on. Highly recommend supporting this local gem!
