Stopped by with my wife for drinks and appetizers. After about 10 minutes no one showing up at the bar, I went to host and asked if their was a bartender working , she went and found him. But everything improved after that, Justin was efficient, we had calamari and brussel sprouts which were delicious, our drinks were good but $17 dollars for an ounce of Basil Hayden was a bit steep

Visited BJ’s Restaurant in Frederick, MD on Dec 21, 2025 at 6 PM and Gavin was an absolute superstar server!
Gavin’s service was flawless:
• Always smiling and professional
• Understood our family’s orders perfectly and accommodated every request promptly
• When our prime rib wasn’t cooked to perfection, he immediately fixed it and brought perfectly cooked replacements
• Made us one of the best Dubai Chocolate Pizookies ever – new flavor was incredible!
Gavin’s attentive, positive attitude turned a great meal into an unforgettable experience. We’ll always choose this BJ’s branch because of him – he’s the reason we left happy and satisfied!

We had a great experience at BJ’s! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the service truly stood out. Annessa was our waiter, and she was absolutely amazing—friendly, attentive, and very professional. She made sure everything was perfect and checked on us just the right amount. Because of her excellent service, we’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend BJ’s, especially if you get Annessa taking care of you!

Recently, my wife and I dined at a restaurant. Despite not having to wait for a table, we arrived on a Friday afternoon around 2 PM. Unfortunately, the strawberry lemonade we ordered was bitter. As an appetizer, we opted for the bone-in wings with the hot honey buffalo sauce. For our entree, we chose the Bacon-Guacamole Deluxe burger and the BJ ribeye steak. The steak was bland and overcooked, while the burger was satisfactory. As dessert, we shared a Dubai Chocolate pizookie. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal and found the service to be exceptional. Our server, Kyra W, was particularly friendly and knowledgeable.

First time at this location and first time at a BJs location since 2007. IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT. Great food, friendly and professional staff and great atmosphere.
Only thing is when we ordered the deep dish pizza we were expecting Chicago type but we should have asked prior to ordering. Still tasted good.
Eyes were bigger than our stomachs but will definitely be back here when we can.

This was my boyfriends first time here and we had Anessa as our server. She was AMAZING, super friendly, very knowledgeable of the menu and consistent!!! BJ’s is a great spot for American dishes. Plenty of options at a decent price. Jaylen did a good job in serving us, I had an issue with my drink he immediately got it fixed, the waiting time for the food was 15 mins or less. Spacious seating, the bar is loaded. They got the games playing in the big screen my husband wouldn’t even sit down cause he was so busy watching lol… Yall come on down you don’t want to miss these delicious dishes! By the way whoever made the shrimp scampi this afternoon….plzzzz kiss the cook for me

Found the service and management to be extremely friendly and helpful. Even though one section was closed for the evening, they accommodated us by allowing us to dinein that area.
Dan, the server, was extremely attentive and helpful. Answered all of our group’s questions regarding the menu and their beer and dessert selections.
