Best Chicken and Seafood in Arlington!!! This is my go to spot for a quick bite. Their tenders are basically half a breast and their shrimp is always on point. The fries are what seals the deal though!!! Crinkle cut fries made fresh to order. Their batter is above all the others in this area. Perfectly seasoned!!!

OMG this was amazing! I thought it was just going to be some cheap takeout place when we drove by based on the building, but decided to give it a try. It’s like super fresh perfectly seasoned fish for fast food prices. I don’t get it. Way better than any fish I’ve ever had before. I would totally go out of my way to go here again if I didn’t live an hour away!

The fries were crispy and thick and soft. The tartar sauce is really good. The honey mustard tastes like cinnamon, which was just a little weird. But I can’t wait to get a chance to go back again

Quality Has Been Lost at ” Louisiana Fish & Chicken”
I have been going to Louisiana Fish & Chicken for a very long time. I’ve watched them close and reopen, and I’ve lived in the area since the building was first built and over the years maybe new owner because after a few mon ths one will see new faces.
During their last reopening, the quality was 100% = excellent. I even asked myself how they could sell chicken wings so big at such a low price. After COVID, there was an understandable price increase, but that also brought very small wings and small fish portions. Still not an issue
This is where I think the quality was lost. On my last visit, the fish was inedible because it was so salty. I went back recently to see if things had improved:
1. The fish is even saltier now. You practically have to remove the breading and eat only the fish to avoid the salt. Tonight it was even worse, either they added more salt, or they haven’t cleaned the oil in a long time. When old oil mixes with seasoning, it creates an extremely salty flavor.
2. The wings have a strange taste and smell, almost as if there was no proper prep or cleaning—like they went straight from the bag, to seasoning, to the fryer without any care.
Guys you can do better because last year there was not any issue I would want to write about..

The last 3 times I have eaten here were not good and this place has always been good. The first time they rang my order up wrong, I requested the items and they said they didn’t charge me for it so I had to pay again. But they NEVER provide real receipts so I have no clue if that is correct or not. They also walked off with my debit card for 10 minutes for whatever reason. Second time was through doordash and they gave my dasher the wrong food. Third time they put old fries in all 4 of my meals and we didn’t know until 20 minutes later when we got home. You need real receipts and to get more than one person at the registers or something.

People there were super friendly. Seemed like a staple in the area. Not the newest joint in town obviously, but adds that factor of a place that has long been standing for 2 generations or so. Chicken tenders were on point and so were the fries. Hard to find places that are as bang for buck and glad to still see places like this. They even have a 5.99 daily lunch special.

I used to always see this place popping off but it’s an odd location so I never went. Figured I may as well try and there’s a reason it’s always so busy.
If you were to ask my favorite food in all of jax it would easily be this places fried shrimp. They are fresh, consistent, and give you a ton. The staff also makes you feel like you’re their friend they haven’t seen in a bit and normally I hate people talking to me.

I enjoy the food and, the manager recently acknowledged a complaint I lodged. I travel from the beach where I live for the shrimp dinners. If you haven’t tried the food, I recommend it.

I ordered a 20 piece wing with a side of fries and I was very pleased. I’m pretty sure I got more than 20 wings (definitely not complaining) and I liked how they put everything in one big tin for me. I don’t know what type of seasoning they put on the chicken but it’s addicting. It looks like some type of garlic or onion powder. Whatever it is, keep using it! I will definitely be returning.
