Nicks Burgers is a great stop for you and your family. We go there every year for hobo day. It is very nice because you can buy a whole bag, which is 8 burgers. The cooks are always working hard in the back. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great time and some good food!

Nicks Burgers is a classic stop in Brookings SD. Every year when visiting for Hobo Day our family comes here to eat. Three burgers is about the same as a quarter pound burger. I prefer to get all the toppings but any burger from Nicks is good. The restaurant is super cute on the inside and I love that you sit at the counter and can watch them cooking the burgers. If you are looking for a place to eat downtown, this is definitely a place you must stop!

Absolutely loved this place. Small town diner vibe with amazing food and milkshakes to die for. Like these milkshakes taste like the ones your grandma would make for you. 10/10 would recommend if you are ever near here

You have to say you’ve been at least once. My wife and I had the pleasure of eating here driving through town on a road trip. Well worth the stop and faster service than anticipated. They’re slider burgers so you’ll need at least a double or more than one. Old school shop with the griddle and everything made in front of you. Do one thing, and do it right, is the concept. Glad we stopped!

A classic burger place that hasn’t changed. You step back in time when you walk in. A great old-time feel to it and classic great burgers that simply are not made like modern fast food garbage. The new owner has stuck with the old way of doing burgers. So do yourself a favor and grab a few.

Great little hamburger joint. Been around for a very long time. Very friendly staff!! Super clean place. Their shakes are super thick and delicious!! I always enjoy coming here for a few burgers. Yes a little on the higher side for price…but the burgers are real berf and fresh made as you wait for them!

Highly recommend stopping in for a coupke sliders!

Old school burger joint, service was good. Atmosphere as expected, no fries, only chips though. Burgers were great, they are sliders, I got everything on them. Delicious!

This local joint serves up slider style burgers with a small town vibe around a retro counter that makes you really feel like a local (even though I wasn’t). To my right was an older fatherly figure getting his weekly burger fix and to my left was a family from Ohio who stopped in bc the mom wanted her kids to experience the place her own grandfather had brought her for burgers many years ago. Great nostalgia that may spark a memory even if you’ve never stepped foot inside before.

Very cool spot. Unique space with good burgers. I like that they cook the burgers right in front of you. No fries, just chips. That’s pretty cool. Give it a try if you are in town.
