They’ve opened 10+ years, quality and taste never changed. Quite good, stir fry water spinach, three cup tofu and stir fry bamboo lamb. Nit: a little too much msg in veggie dish.

The dishes are well prepared, but some of the dishes have too much sauce! The waiter refills water frequently and delivers foods quickly.

Red Hot Wok is a no-frills, consistently busy spot with generally easy seating. We ordered several containers of hot & sour soup, which is a personal favorite. While not the most authentic version, it was hearty and enjoyable with a few ingredient tweaks.
The beef fried rice with satay sauce was overly oily and had an overpowering “wok” taste. The beef fried noodles with kang kung lacked seasoning and fell flat in flavor.
There’s potential here, especially for casual bites—but a few key improvements could really elevate the experience.

Oct ’25 $13.95 a bowl of Taiwanese braised pork belly rice, along with an egg and pickles? No cap! It’s a lovely small eatery for Taiwanese quick bites. Closed on Mondays.

We went here due to a friend’s recommendation. This place did not disappoint. We ordered 3 cup chicken, scallions with lamb, stirred fried beef with noodle, and bitter melon with salty eggs. They were fresh, flavorful and delicious.

Traditional Taiwanese restaurant serving up authentic dishes
We tried three dishes – all were tasty and authentic tasting.
(1) braised pork rice – tasty
(2) pan roasted fish cake – crispy on the outside

Traditional Taiwanese restaurant in an unassuming venue, serving up a lot of delicious classic dishes. Fast and efficient service, but some of the sizzling platter dishes seem to use the same sauce with different proteins. Small parking lot, so need to look for some street parking.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in the area without a doubt. My favorite dishes are the silk squash with salted duck egg and the braised tofu with salted duck egg. The service is extremely fast and while you’re likely to encounter a lineup it does move pretty quickly. If you’re not into waiting for a table, takeout is an option as well and it’s also lighting fast.

Eating at Red Hot Wok was a new experience for me, and I’m happy it turned out so well. The 3 Cup Chicken was a real treat, and the sizzling chicken with black pepper had just the right amount of spice. Those fresh chilies on the side gave an extra kick to the meal.
I sipped on a gold beer, but I think it would be great if they expanded their drink options with more Taiwanese beers, rice wine, and whiskey.
I’m already planning my next visit because I can’t wait to try more of their delicious dishes. The food at Red Hot Wok has left a lasting impression, and I’m excited to explore more Taiwanese flavors on my next trip there.
But I am coming back again to try them all !!
