Raw sewage odor is horrible. I’m surprised they are allowed to be open. The dehumidifiers were not working very well. I asked for no tomatoes on my sandwich and of course it came with tomatoes.
Their drain out front has been clogged for years and makes it impossible for a handicap person to enter when it rains. The rain water was every bit 6 inches deep. This was not a one time occurrence. I remember having my mom have to go around this years ago when she was still alive. They still have not fixed it and she passed away in 2020.
*** UPDATE: I don’t believe or trust the response that I got Below from Applebee’s. There have been multiple complaints about it and it never gets corrected. I didn’t even see the previous reviews about the odor until after I posted my review. Now I see that the same complaints go back months ago.

This one’s tough to write because Applebee’s used to be a reliable go-to. Lately though, it just hasn’t been the same. The food quality has really slipped — inconsistent, underwhelming, and nowhere near what it used to be. The “Perfect Pour” drinks are fine, but good bar pours can’t make up for disappointing meals. It’s honestly sad to see a place that was once dependable decline this quickly. Hoping they turn it around.

I cant believe i took my wife here for valentines day an after being told it would be a 20 minute wait to be seated i watched another couple seated 2 minutes later. BUT THEN AFTER waiting to be seated I wasn’t served or approached about ordering for another 20 minutes as others were seated an served around me. FINALLY I was able to place an order an waited 25 minutes for a cold plate of appetizers an had still not gotten my drinks an when I asked about them was told was still waiting for the bartender to make them so I canceled my order an left. WORST SERVICE EVER. I GAVE 1 STAR CAUSE I GAD TO CAUSE SURELY THEY DID AN DO NOT DESERVE IT IN ANY WAY.

I did not eat here, but picked up at uber eats order. How/why is this location open; has there been clearance from the Health Department to continue service is a restaurant that’s permeated by the stench of dirty grease trap and sewage? The employees are always so sweet whenever I pick up an order, but even standing there for 2 minutes, I was nauseous. I hope theyre well compensated/ provided with hazard pay (realistically not but one can dream). This needs to be looked into for the wellbeing of both the employees and customers. From a look at the reviews, this is an ongoing issue.

You have a nice staff here, and I feel bad for them. You know if a franchisee had portable air conditioners like this in their store that you would make them fix it immediately. Especially since this has been going on most of the year and now it’s 95° outside. These portable air conditioners can’t keep up with the square footage and the smell confirms it. You guys know the building needs a complete overall, actually a complete tear down and start over would probably be the best bet. The building has seen way better days. Number one Applebee’s in the country at one point if I’m not mistaken. Sadly I’m pretty sure it’s the same carpeting and fixtures when this was number one 20+years ago. You guys got to do better than this, it’s kind of sad.

Had to give the food some kind of rating even though we never got to the point of ordering, but I am confidently putting it down as a 1/5. Immediately hit with the smell of an old backed up sewer drain when walking in, then were told by the bartender she would seat us is about 5 minutes. We tried to stick it out, but 5 minutes passed and the bartender asked us again how many in our party and to “go ahead and grab your menus and sit anywhere”. We found only dirty booth tables with sticky seats and dust caked dividers that hadn’t been cleaned since the pandemic when we decided to nope out. Please stay away so they can vacate this space for a business that will make an effort.

The place smells horrendous, apparently the have problems with the pipes, pure sewage water smell. The place looks almost abandoned, run down.
The food wasn’t good at all, AT ALL! and the silverware was dirty.
I feel bad to leave one star because the waitress was very kind and sweet.
But the whole place, food and experience was horrendous!

What they probably can’t control is the raw sewage smell which was horrible, but what they can control they choose not to. Restaurant was nasty from our table to the bathroom, food was wretched, and one of the worst servers I have ever had. The place was a ghost town and I understand now why.

Yes I have. Several friends and I visited the one in Florence Kentucky. The first one I’ve been to in 18 years. I enjoyed myself with my friends, and the service was great. I visited another Applebee’s a few weeks ago. It was nice, the food was good and price was great. The server did great with taking care of a group of 8, and almost everyone ording the 2 for $25.
