It was a pleasant surprise to find such good Indian food in Vermont, as this is the quality I’d expect in bigger cities! Good portion sizes, great flavor! The owner was super kind and welcoming. The decor is fun and colorful. Can’t wait to come back!

Highly recommend this Vegetarian & Vegan restaurant. The Tikki Chaat appetizer was my fave. Stellar service, yummy authentic chai, best naan I’ve ever had..
They deserve the great review they’ve received. The chef clearly is talented. Definitely going back.
I think the food is as good as the best I’ve had (which is Lehja’s in Richmond VA, which is award winning.)

This all vegetarian Indian spot is more than worth the trip/drive! The flavors in the dishes are amazing and truly stand out. My partner and I started off with 2 delicious Indian Masala Chais. They taste like a very rich chai tea with added Indian spice. The onion pakora Was perfectly battered and fried That came with two sauces that were delectable. I had the Matar Paneer which was rich and creamy. The Paneer was great. My partner had the Aloo Baingan at the “Spicy” level. Beware of the spice! He loves spicy food so it was nothing for him, me on the other hand could not take more than a spoonful. Still delicious though! The garlic naan is a must-add to any entree, adds an extra layer of flavor. As you can see from the pictures, we were too hungry to wait, smelt way too good!

We were on our way back to Canada and was pleasantly surprised by the food and service of this place, a vegetarian Indian restaurant just outside of Burlington, Vermont. We thoroughly enjoyed the food, the service and the way we were welcomed to the restaurant. We hope to come back in the future.

Hands down to the best food ever. Most importantly the owner and staffs friendliness and willingness to help customise was great too. Mr Yogi is such a warm, talkative, caring, and genuine host. We ordered kadhai paneer, daal tadka, laccha paratha for dinner and everything was great. Later next day we came again for breakfast, ordered idli sambar, aloo paratha and masala chai. Everything was amazing. Sarita is a great cook and overall great management.

The food is awesome! It’s a well run vegetarian restaurant with authentic Indian food. Yogi Singh manages the front and he’s very personable with all his customers. He takes care to make each customer feel important and tries to take care of their needs. His wife, Marital Singh manages the kitchen and staff. She’s an extremely good cook and she even helped us when we requested jain food. We were so happy with the restaurant that we went back again the next day. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the Stowe/Burlington area.

I went here twice. The first time I ordered the samosa chaat (which was enough as an entree) and the second time I ordered the lunch special. The menu is all vegetarian with some vegan options. It was honestly some of the best Indian food I’ve ever had. It looked good, smelled good, and tasted good! The atmosphere is mostly traditional and what you would expect to find in an Indian restaurant, however, it has a small tiki style bar in the middle. The owner is very friendly and walks around talking to customers.

Aromas of India is literally by far the best Indian food place I and my friends have dined in at in the New England area. Yogi and Sarita’s Aroma India Kitchen truly offers the taste, warmth and feeling of a homemade meal while ensuring the best quality and consistency. Moreover, the love and care with which all the staff treat their guests is incredible. The cherry on top is: a pure vegetarian restaurant with the availability of vegan options. A must try place for anyone visiting the Burlington/Northern Vermont area.

We ordered the paneer kadai, tandoori roti, and salad. Everything was freshly made and had that authentic Indian restaurant style taste. We also had a lovely chat with the owner’s husband Yogi ji, who was very friendly and made us feel like guests in someone’s home rather than just customers at a restaurant. Highly recommend visiting this place!
