I went with the standard Breakfast Sampler (two eggs, two pancakes, bacon, and sausage) but asked to swap out the ham for extra bacon and sausage. The kitchen got the modification exactly right. Everything was cooked perfectly, the pancakes were fluffy, and the eggs were done just the way I wanted them.
Despite it being pretty busy for a late night, the staff was very friendly and the food came out fairly quickly. This location did exactly what an IHOP is supposed to do: make good pancakes, serve a solid breakfast, and get it to the table hot. It really hit the spot.
They offer enough variety to keep things interesting at fair prices. For a busy chain, the service is reliably friendly and quick. It’s the perfect place when you want easy, traditional breakfast food.
From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt more positive and organized. The staff was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind. The food was fresh, hot, and full of flavor you can tell there’s more care and consistency coming out of the kitchen now.
It’s clear the new leadership has brought fresh energy and higher standards. This restaurant has truly stepped up its game, and it shows in every detail. We’ll definitely be back!
It’s nice to have a late night food option.
They need to anticipate more in their customers when they care about their well being and being well served. This type of attitude cannot be tolerated in any restaurant that I’ve attended in.
Well since I was expecting to be there a number of hours I had nowhere to go and it’s 20° out. So I sat in the waiting/seating area and numerous other customers came in and were seated, or simply allowed to stay.
So essentially the manager didn’t like that I only came there for the coffee and he kicked me out of a completely empty restaurant for “cleaning” (why can they not just seat me in the other area? The restaurant is massive).
Throwing your paying customers out in the sub-freezing temperatures is extremely bad business. I typically go to Panera and I have a 24/7 Panera by where I live, they have never once asked me to leave or thrown me out and I happily spend hundreds of dollars there.
$5 for one tiny pot of coffee vs Panera’s $4 a month sip club, never been kicked out, and then I just now asked one of the customers who was in there for about 20 minutes if they seated him and he ate there and he said “yeah”, I explained they kicked me out for “cleaning” until 6 am and he said “oh. Yeah I saw them cleaning. Just try again”. This is absolutely ridiculous lying to me specifically saying the lobby is closed for cleaning yet seating everyone else? and I’m definitely going to be reaching out to their GM because I used to work at IHOP and have never once heard of such a thing. I was sitting quietly on my devices and caused no issues and did not make a sound or disturbance in any way shape or form.
I am here to just share the level of calm, and professionalism despite pure busyness on New Year’s day. The young lady and gentleman at the front (I didn’t catch their names, unfortunately) were in full swing as there were MANY families coming to share a meal and time with family/friends all at once.
The staff were calm, patient, and very accomodating from my POV. I also like the fact that even in all the mayhem (just super crowded at the front with families trying to add their names to the list for seating) they even maintained a pick up order list- having anyone picking up an order sign their name and the time of pick up.
Kudos to this team of workers (the cooks, waiters and watresses too!) I’ll definitely return; hopefully I’ll be able to dine in next go round.
