First timer. I drove to Bojangles originally to smash a fried chicken sandwich. However I got there and then read the Google reviews on this particular location and it said the place was dirty and had 3.1 stars.
I did drive past this place I never heard of and it had a large line so I was assuming it must be good. It was freaking excellent. It has 2015 pricing. I got a cheeseburger, fries, and a shake for under $12. Piping hot, quick line. Doesn’t taste like fast food, it tastes like fresh fast food

A must try place for juicy burgers, amazing thick shakes and delicious sides of onion rings, cheese bites, and hush puppies! I ordered the tray meal that came with a hamburger (I had steak style for my hamburger), onion rings, cheese bites and substituted my drink for an Oreo Carmel Shake. I was told to try the hush puppies so I got a side of them as well and they did not disappoint. It’s not a sit down location but it does have fast window service and great price for the amazing food that you get!

I don’t know what it is about the lack of listening skills when a customer like myself says “NO” when asked if I want cheese. First of all if I don’t say I want cheese when asked what toppings I want…most likely that means I DON’T WANT CHEESE. I am lactose intolerant and I’m over the worker (s) who insist on adding cheese when it is not requested. How hard is it to follow directions and NOT add something that was not asked for? Apparently it’s difficult because this has happened more than once. I don’t know what needs to happen to make a change with active listening from the employees but please correct it. I will say that I have gone to a Cookout restaurant with an automatic “AI” worker that takes the orders….. everything was PERFECT…no mistakes…..and it actually LISTENED….Tighten up.

“OTHER THAN CHEESE WHAT DO YOU WANT?” Is what I was asked before I could even decide what I wanted to eat, see I am lactose intolerant so I avoid dairy, so I order a burger with NO CHEESE. They always ask “OTHER THAN CHEESE WHAT DO YOU WANT?” before really knowing what the customer wants which is annoying and a little rude. So I order my burger with NO CHEESE, and what do the employees do? THEY PUT CHEESE ON MY BURGER! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY AT THIS LOCATION THEY LACK COMPREHENSION AND LACK LISTENING SKILLS!

I ordered the “Big double burger” plate with fries and onion rings. When I bit into the burger, it was all bun! WHERES THE BEEF? Cookout used to be the best fast food place to eat at, but it’s going downhill so fast now. This place should literally be sued for false advertisement. The patties on the BDB were cut in half their normal size. A McDonald’s mcdouble would have had twice the burger. Cookout should be ashamed of themselves for blatantly deceiving their customers. I know this review will get the normal “oh we care, cute and paste” response. The only way they will stop doing such things is for people to read this, look at the picture and stop going. They don’t care unless you hurt their pocketbook.

We were a bit hesitant at first because the drive through lines were so long. We decided to give it a go anyway and I’m glad we did. The lines moved quickly and within a few minutes we had fresh hot food in our hands. Everything was phenomenal! Pictured is the double “cheddar style” burger with cajun seasoning. Yes it tasted as good as it looks. Swing by and get some hot, delicious, affordable food.
