My friend and I had a wonderful meal at Gallo’s Italian Villa! We started with a delicious pizza that had a perfectly crispy crust and was topped with fresh ingredients. Every bite was packed with flavor. For the main course, we enjoyed a savory pasta dish that was rich and satisfying. The sauce was flavorful, and the pasta was cooked to perfection. The cozy atmosphere and friendly staff made it even more enjoyable. We definitely left happy and will be returning for another delicious meal soon!

My husband and I think this is best Italian food ever. We have lived here from Tennessee before and are back and we come here from Ohio as no other Restaurant can compare with Mr. Gallos bread the sauce on Italian dishes, atmosphere. A great place!

I ordered two quarts of wedding soup for my wife who was sick and I had to go to New Castle for something else, so I searched Google and this place had the best ratings. The soup was flavorless, full of greens, and 0 pastini. I was very disappointed and for having spent almost $24, I was disgusted. Next time I’ll make it myself or drive to Youngstown to Niccolini’s or Kravitz’s Deli.

Living in New Castle just over a year; and again I’m missing out on a great place just because the reviews aren’t firewalled. Finally I said, Gallo’s, with that menu, let’s give it a shot. And I’ve been studying that menu for over a year now. antipasti, il pesce e la carne. Fish. I want fish.
And starting with the app, we got seafood. We started with the fried calamari with ranch. Can we have marinara instead of the ranch? And with the bread, some oil with garlic greens? And the waitress, Kazmere, who was great. Beyond great, made sure dinner was served as it should be. A nice, slow, easy paced meal. I don’t take hours, but I can kill a day over good food. To me slow is, don’t bring dinner when I’m on app. Nicely paced. And it was exactly how I asked. The calamari came, with the warmed marinara. And that calamari was hot, right out of the fryer hot. Beautifully browned, and, it was some of the best calamari the wife and I ever had. I’m not kidding, if that wasn’t scratch made then I want to know the supplier. The rings were thicker and cut broader than any I had ever had. And while the breading was cooked to a crispy crunch, the calamari itself was like a tender rare filet. Every piece was like that. Not a single one had breading falling off, or was some weird little stringy bit. We ate every one, all gone. Oh, before I get to the dinner. The bread. I never had bread like this before. It came out warm, a nice sized loaf for the two of us, sliced thick. You can almost see it in the picture, how it has a crumb to it, a bite that is more like a cake. Or even cornbread, but not that loose a crumb. Definitely not yeast raised. And the oil and garlic greens that came with it, dash or two of salt and parm in that oil. That was dangerous, because we were hungry and there were still four slices left. But, got it together and just in time. Oh, the Wedding Soup. Or salad? Guess which one won. No pastine or orzo but the chicken, the endive, and those little handmade meatballs in chicken stock.
Drop the salad, take the soup.
Now dinner proper. Very proper. I got what on the menu was lemon pepper cod loin. That pasta with the mushrooms? If anyone ever told me I’d like capellini with garlic and oil and mushrooms, no meat. Those mushrooms had some kind of great bite to them. Meaty. And the green beans with crispy slivered almonds. The cod was a large thick piece baked and seasoned and covered with capers and lightly cooked diced tomato. Seriously, that menu just said “Lemon Pepper Cod Loin, with side of pasta and veg of the day”. And the plates, both our plates, came out hot. Full of food, and nicely garnished. And the wife got salmon with crisp slivered almonds, rice pilaf, and those green beans. Hers had a light grill flavor. Not smokey, but grilley. And that salmon tasted even better than my cod. We stopped shy of stuffedness, and took a good sized snack home each. And the rest of the bread. And the extra napkins too, why the heck not…
It was a very good meal. Very, very, good.
And now the pics. Tried to take good ones. This dinner deserved it.

This was our first trip to Gallo’s Italian Villa. We were not disappointed! We were met on the way in by restaurant owner Phil Gallo. My wife had a Calzone while I had Linguine and meatballs in red sauce. We both had a cup of their stuffed pepper soup as well as warm bread freshly made. The bread was delicious and very light. The soup was hot , tasty and really warmed us up inside! The Calzone was big, but not too big. It was made from the same dough as the bread which only enhanced the flavor of this delightful dish. My linguine was perfectly cooked just on the al dente side covered in a flavorful red sauce and two great tasting meatballs. We had great friendly service and the price was awesome too, as we ate for just a little over $20! How could we go wrong. After we ate Phil showed us around his restaurant and banquet facility (checkout my photos). Gallos has been in business for 26 years, and with this kind of food, great service and pricing, they’ll be around at least 26 more!

Ordered a few things, including 2 of the family deals, as we were in town to visit family. Total rip off. 2 small meatballs in the spaghetti dinner. About 6 meatballs in a ~$40 tray of pasta with meatballs. 4 little pieces of chicken parm in a ~$40 tray of chicken parm with pasta. And who doesn’t bread their chicken for chicken parm????

The most disgusting food ive ever eaten. Ordered pasta, barely any sauce, didnt meatter beacuase it had no taste anyway. Substituted the chicke with shrimp, got 4 shrimp, which i knew id get but didnt think theyd be boiled and not fried. Also like 2 slithers of peppers and like 3 mushrooms in the sauce. The noodles are over cooked mush. The bread stinks of yeast, its either old or they just have gross tasteless bread. The caesar salad dressing wasnt bad but the crotons were not crotons. The crotons tasted like stale bread that had been left out and not baked to a hard crisp, consistency like stale bread. The only good thing was the cheese wedges and you can tell they buy them premade. Total waste of money, run, do not stop here

Gallo’s pizza is incredible from the crust to the toppings and variety of pizza! We moved here from New York and had a hard time finding a pizza we really enjoyed…until now.
We also enjoyed the all-you-can-eat pizza and wing bar on Thursday nights. There was salad, four types of wings, and three different types of pizza. They rotated the pizza, so everyone had something they liked, but my favorite was their white garlic pizza. There was no red sauce on it, but plenty of cheese and different toppings.
I would say this place has the best pizza in town!

It’s too late for photos because I ate most of it! Best stuffed hot peppers around. I love it when the pepper is spicy enough to warm me up and make me sniffle, Gallo’s did not disappoint. The meatball sub and wedding soup were fantastic. Great price for good quality food.
