This BBQ place is one of the best. It’s not fancy but then again it’s BBQ. They might have a special the day/time you walk in so check the board.
The restaurant was very clean, plenty of tables and friendly staff. No special POS register to bug you about tips. They do have an old time tip jar if you wish and if you use a card there is a spot to put a tip if you prefer.
They use Pepsi products for drinks and have their own iced tea.
Ordered the regular sliced beef basket and the BBQ tacos. Both were very tasty. The bun for the sandwich was soft and fresh. The beef nicely smoked. Fries were cooked perfectly and plenty were given. Their baked beans are very flavorful and include a good amount of bbq meat with them.
They have a good selection of sauces, my go to is sweet. They have mild, hot and and extra hot that are spicy but the sweet has the best flavor IMO.

This restaurant used to be my go to place for grilled Chicken, collard greens and black eye peas. I ordered via the drive thru. I didn’t see the peas on the menu but was able to add to my order when I paid. The grilled chicken which was usually juicy and tender, was dry and slightly burnt. The chicken tenders were also dry, and tough. I didn’t personally try the ribs, but didn’t hear any complaints or for the baked beans or coleslaw. I managed to improve the chicken with the enclosed barbecue sauce and pot liquor (collard greens juice). The greens were good, just too many stems for my liking. I didn’t receive any peas, but I didn’t find out until I got home. I was reassured that my card would be credited. In my experience, this usually takes several days, so I’m still waiting for it. The customer service has always been pleasant. Sadly this visit was disappointing and definitely not worth $72 . I may return for the sides, but only if I happen to be in the area again.

Five stars all around. I live very close to this location and have been a couple times, I will be coming back more often. Tasty BBQ, reasonably priced. On par with a lot of BBQ I tried in TX.
Meat is tender and flavorful and they really put effort into the sides: the fries were crispy and perfect, cabbage was a nice complement, and the baked beans are delicious.
Oh and they have good sweet tea, kinda a given for BBQ.

Very thin and very small. They should be shamed selling 2 pieces of very thin very small catfish fillets. I spent $17.00 on this meal. I normally come here because the catfish is a nice size and tasty. But today It was a disgrace. They shouldn’t serve anyone catfish this small and thin, not for $17.00. I mean, they’re already serving sides the size of a sauce container.

The atmosphere is somewhat typical of a barbecue place with uncomfortable wood seating, but we used to love the barbecue that the previous Winter Park location served, so when we were near the current location, we decided it was past time to determine if it was as good as before. The quality wasn’t, and portions had decreased considerably, so we were extremely disappointed.

Comfort food at the max. Great service. Order the pull pork sandwich with fries wow, the atmosphere is awesome. Food is hot and fresh, you have to choose between the barbecue sauce: mild, hot or burning hot. Love it. ❤️

What in the world happen to this place! This used to be the best place in town. I picked up an order in the drive through for 50 dollars and I couldn’t believe how small the portions were and how plain tasting the food was. I’m so dissatisfied I could have went to sonneys and got way more for cheaper, as well as much more flavor! The portions were so small I had to come home and cook my own dinner and give the rest to my family. Avoid this place. Below is their side of beans in the picture.

Had a great visit here with no complaints. The counter guy was friendly, and efficient from the minute I walked into the door. Got my drink did a little sightseeing around the place and grabbed a seat. After a short wait my food came out hot, and fresh. Everything tasted great, even the variety of sauces. I know this place can be hit or miss, but today it was definitely a hit. I will definitely be back for more…

I came here a couple of years ago to try this place out I used to always go to the winter park location that is now close I was not impressed with this location a couple of years ago but now this location is great the brisket is so flavorful and so juicy, the Mac and cheese is good but the portion is so small, the fries are out of this world hot salty and crispy, the sweet tea it is so good one of the best sweet teas in town, the bbq sauces there is nothing like that in Orlando, I highly recommend this place if you like bbq I am so glad the made some changes. Best bbq in town!
