TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Only ate here a couple of times but let me tell you now!!! Damn its good, Especially if you like spice/heat. They bring the HEAT!! . The name is justified by the food. Loaded fries with Mac n cheese was absolutely incredible, Spicy chicken sandwich was straight fire and burned like hell. Love this place and will definitely be returning.

Really good spot! The chicken was super crispy and flavorful, and the portions were bigger than I expected. Staff was friendly, food came out fast, and everything tasted fresh. Perfect late‑night stop after studying. Definitely coming back 🙂

Food was good, the only bad part was the reaper spice, it was hot don’t get me wrong but I was expecting more flavor, it just tasted burnt to me, literally like someone left the peppers in fire and toasted it to hell, my spice tolerance is really high I still ate it but no flavor whatsoever. The workers were kinda lost, messing up people’s orders which caused us to wait for a really long time, tbf given it’s a new place most likely new employees so I’ll give a pass on that, they should do better as time goes on but who knows. Atmosphere could use a vamp, if you’re going to use dim lighting throw a couple of TVs on the wall give us something to look at, and please lower the cost for drinks no one wants to pay $4 for a small drink come on. Would I come back not sure as it stands probably not, but don’t take my word for it try it for yourself, could end up being your favorite spot.
