Stopped off at Ed’s on our way driving back up to Philadelphia.
We had the chouder pot, very tasty. Also the tuna, which my partner said was one of the best hes ever had and he’s a big foodie. I had a really good crab cake. Definitely a great place to stop.

I wanted to go to Chowder Ted’s. So, off we went. I had the Moroccan chowder-small bowl, I had the crab cakes on top of a salad. I had sweet tea for my drink. We arrived a little before noon. The front dining room was full, so we chose a spot in the back with a view of the water.
The food was phenomenal, service was perfect and the atmosphere was good.
Pros:great food
Cons:the driveway is steep and a blind spot when exiting-so use extreme caution.

Cajun burger was amazing. They put a very nice crisp on it. The veggies were crazy fresh as well. Fried mushrooms IMO were slightly over cooked but still really good. As for the service, doesn’t get any better. The women at the cou ter greeted us instantly and even brought the food out to us. She was amazing. Over all, were definitely coming back again.

Also as a plus there’s a really nice setting area outside on the waters edge. Has good cover and nice picnic tables. Can’t imagine a better view. I definitely recommend this place!

Loved the chowder, who would have thought to add green olives. Brussel sprouts were fantastic, hint of sweet with the balsamic vinegar. I remember the original one and loved him, this one stands just fine on its own.

Good vibes, good food. Everything was fresh and well seasoned. Remember that sides gotta be ordered separately. The fried seafood plate, a side of fries, and a half order of chowder was perfect for two people. We’ll come back when we drive through.

After a day in the sun, my best friend decided I had to experience Chowder Ted’s. The onion rings reminded me of my childhood. The burger was massive, and I could barely fit my mouth around it. The Cajun fries were a perfect spicy compliment to the burger.

The chowder was fantastic and it was so fun to be actually eating out of the cooking pot. It just added to the ambience. We sat outside next to the water and the whole experience was so rewarding. The staff was genuinely friendly and treated us like family

Really wanted to like this place based on the positive reviews. Got there about 5:45 last Tues for an early dinner. First thing we were told was NO chowder….bummed to hear since that’s what we came for. Opted to just go with appetizers instead since we didn’t get off to a good start. Tried the conch fritters and a crab cake. Fritters were edible but crab cake was the worst I’ve ever had. Just sharing so no one else makes same mistake.

Surprisingly good. Got a flounder sandwich and swamp burger. Smoked fish dip was not amazing, but everything else was good. The overall feel of the place was fun and enjoyed our stay. Bad blind spot coming out of parking lot though so be careful.

Great little local restaurant right on the water! Stopped by for lunch today and was greeted right away by a smiling friendly server. Was going to order chowder, but it’s about 150 degrees outside so I decided on the fried oyster po boy and some Cajun seasoned fries. WOW! It was incredible and the homemade sauce on the sandwich put it over the top! It’s nice to go to and support local restaurants. They even have outside seating in a covered area directly on the water. You could just tell that this a beloved local eatery. Really glad I found this gem! It’s a little tricky getting out of the parking lot to the main road because of the bridge. If you are in the area stop by Chowder Ted’s, you won’t be disappointed! Eat Local! Florida Man Approved!
