I ordered one of their salads, and it was honestly delicious. All the ingredients were served over a fresh bed of mixed salad greens, topped with crispy fried breaded chicken, bacon, blue cheese, oven tomatoes (almost like sun-dried tomatoes), and corn. Everything tasted fresh and well-balanced, and the mix of flavors and textures made the salad surprisingly filling and satisfying. The chicken was perfectly crispy, the bacon added just the right amount of smokiness, and the blue cheese brought a rich, tangy finish to every bite.
The service was friendly and fast, and the staff made me feel very welcomed. Overall, Littletown Free House is a great spot if you’re looking for tasty comfort food with a creative twist. I’d definitely go back and would recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
Our family tried the Baked Goat Cheese and Pretzel Twists. Both were excellent! The pretzels have Everything Bagel seasoning on them which was a fun twist. For dinner we tried the beef and ahi tuna tacos, wagyu burger, kids grilled cheese, kids Mac & cheese and one of my kiddos got the nachos with beef. Everything tasted great and I have to say that the chunk of barbacoa that came on the nachos was downright impressive. I’ll be having homemade tacos with the leftover barbacoa for the rest of the week and I’m not sad about it.
We also tried the warm chocolate chip cookie skillet and key lime pie for dessert. Both were great. The key lime pie was tart without being too tart or too sweet. The cookie came with ice cream and whipped cream and my kids demolished it in mere minutes.
We’ve eaten here many times, it’s a great place to get a delicious burger, beer, family friendly atmosphere, good service.
3/8/24 We were in a hurry and popped in for a quick burger at the bar; it was a delicious juicy burger and a good dry Stowe cider, fast enough service to get us in and out on time, friendly neighbors at the bar.
2/2/24 We met dear friends for a special occasion; the staff was really nice from the person who seated us to our server. We had a lot of fun and it’s a really good energy here.
The food is still lingering in the “ok” zone, I would say My burger was only fair. My husband and I shared the No Greens Greek salad which this time it was excellent; I’ve had it about 6 times and half the time it’s skimpy and mostly cucumbers, and the other half it’s robust and full of delicious olives and feta and other yummy stuff .. last night it was excellent. For the price it should never be skimpy …
I had a cheeseburger, gluten free, and it was ok. The burger quality is poor… it looked more like chicken, and wasn’t flavorful, very mediocre with almost no toppings, and it comes with everything in it, not to the side so you can add it… For gluten free they offered rice, salad, and mashed potatoes .. I can’t eat seed oils and the mashed potatoes have a lot of them and always make me feel bloated at this restaurant, the salad is just chopped lettuce so I figured I’d try the rice and it was disappointing sticky flavorless… Oh well … When we first came a year ago the food was really delicious, I don’t know what happened .. our friends were happy with the macaroni and cheese and the Argentinian Bowl.
The atmosphere is festive and fun, it’s loud and we had a great time.
1/6/24 We’ve been here many, many times and I seem to enjoy it less and less; the food is ok, the burger seems less juicy and less delicious, the greens side salad is literally just lettuce, the maitre de was literally rude… Our server was really nice and attentive.
Lots of gluten free options!

Absolutely delicious food, perfect portions, in a super cool 1940’s garage, excellent service! Can’t wait to come again!!
Gluten free choices!!!
We ordered the Filet Mignon steak, grilled salmon, wings, Caesar salad, and baked goat cheese, along with a 4-flavor beer tasting. Everything was delicious — perfectly cooked, and the flavors were amazing.
The service was excellent: the staff were attentive and friendly, creating a very comfortable atmosphere. The place impressed us with its cozy setting, and every part of our visit left only positive impressions.
There is one small downside: they don’t accept Google Pay or Apple Pay — only cards, but this didn’t affect my overall rating. It would be great if this option were available in the future for added convenience.
I highly recommend it to anyone looking to enjoy excellent food, try a variety of dishes, and taste quality craft beer. Definitely visit and experience it yourself!
Service: Our server was kind and helpful! Very attentive
Atmosphere: Had a sports bar vibes but very nice still and has plenty of seats and a live upbeat atmosphere!
Highly recommend
