Came in for dinner after a long day of concrete polishing. Went up to the bar and ordered double jack &Pepsi, strawberry margaritas frozen + salt, the combo appettizer and a quesdilla burger.

I could not get waitress to wait on me. I guess her phone was more important. It was forever to get waited on to begin with, then I never saw her until food arrived. At this time I asked for extra dressing for salad, it was over ten minutes before I saw her again. Then I had to ask again. Finally after about seven minutes I received the dressing. At this time I needed water. It was brought after I finished my meal by another waitress who then began to argue with me and tell me I was just a bad customer and didn’t understand the situation. That was not my input. If there was an issue or should have been up to the manager to correct. I did talk to a manager, at least that is what he claimed. Had a hair net on and a winter coat. Working in the cooler. Looked very unprofessional in my opinion. So credited me a portion of the meal back. Didn’t really face the problem at hand.

Absolutely terrible ! I will never go to this place again and would rather have had ramen. Not only did our server get the whole order wrong and just said sorry but she also charged for an extra shot I did not want and told her I didn’t want it. I wish I would gave gotten her name because this was totally unacceptable.

We ended up walking out and going across the lot to Taco Bell. Waited 25 min for our lunch meals apparently the 1/2 cup of tomato soup was the hold up, everything was cold (including the soup, I put my finger into it to show the mgr cuz I wasn’t given a spoon). My husband’s fries were cold, his riblets he could twist into a complete circle before they smooshed off the bone like a wet noodle. He asked for a refill on his water and our server never came back with it.
Flies were everywhere on windows, I actually killed 6 with a menu while I was sitting in the booth, cuz they told me “to do what I gotta do” when I asked about a flyswatter. This was at 2:55pm on a Tuesday. There were 2 wait staff and a manager. We walked past 2 filthy tables to be seated, there’s no reason for the laziness of staff when it’s that slow, which was probably the reason for the fly infestation. The staff has no level of excitement, empathy, or desire to help any customer with any issues. The manager told us she was sorry, and flies were bad, which was kinda funny, Taco Bell next door, didn’t have one fly in their dining room. It’s a sad day, when Taco Bell beats out a sit down restaurant. Applebee’s should be ashamed to ask the amount of money they do, for the absolutely disgusting food and dining experiences they offer. We will NEVER dine at Applebee’s again, not in Emporia or anywhere else.

Bench seat springs are becoming worn out. Was informed that the restaurant was out of broccoli and Josh wine. Food was good. Drink and food service was slow. They weren’t that busy.

Sat at the bar, horrible stench! Ordered the Patron Margarita, that was good. The Ceasars salad, brown as in photo’s. The sirloin with mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli, I ordered the steak med rare, came to me rare, sent it back, came to me medium. Mashed and broccoli were alright. Ordered another drink, not so great, not sure what she done but …. hum!
In the end, met some people and enjoyed!

It was fine till we got our food. Mine was fine,but my husband couldn’t eat his salad. Very dry!!! He found Very little dressing. Extra dressing would have cost more. Ridiculous!! After I finished, the waitress asked if we wanted a to go box.For what??? Something we couldn’t eat in the restaurant!! We had already told her how dry it was. Then she asked if we wanted dessert. Hell no!!!! Never go back.
