I love Shiver’s sooo much! It’s absolutely the best cold-treat place around. The staff are always super friendly, and even when we place large orders, they are super accurate!
My favorite item is the signature mocha (espresso over vanilla ice cream with whipped cream and chocolate shavings/chunks), but basically every drink I have had has been amazing. I used to get frozen hot chocolate with cherry often, too. Everything is very customizable, though I recommend looking online for a full list of their options.
I cannot recommend Shiver’s enough, honestly!

Great experience, delightful food. Had the Chili Mac daily special, Club Sandwich, Crab Bisque and Potato Soup. Very much recommend the Club sandwich and Crab Bisque. Chili Mac was good also. The Potato Soup was not to our liking. It was water based rather than cream or milk, gritty rather than creamy, a style I don’t really care for… Someone else may love it. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. 5 STARS.

The best concretes around with tasty vanilla ice cream. This is where I ask to go to when visiting our friends of 42 years. I get an oreo concrete and ask for extra oreos. They do give you extra ingredients when asked, not just pretend to add it. They give you big portions too. The line going through the drive thru is lined up on the road. I guess the secret is out they have the best ice cream and are priced just right!! Go and treat yourself with awesome ice cream.

Shivers is my favorite place to go on a hot day or even a cold day. I love their custard. I would also recommend the frozen coffee drinks they have. When I come here I usually get a strawberry butterscotch shake or a cup of custard with toppings.

The ice cream is always great, but waiting 40 minutes for a coffee order to be wrong isn’t a great time. If you are looking for cold brew or nitro cold brew you are in luck, but an iced mocha comes out about 110/120 degrees warmer than I expected. I didn’t want to change my review, I love shivers, but there have been a lot of inconsistencies with the coffee lately.

This frozed custard I think is better than Culver’s. It was so smooth and creamy. I had the Artic Turtle and the fugde that Shiver’s uses is this turtleis not the cheap stuff. My husband had frozen custard with chocolate hard shell, peanut butter topping, chocolate chip cookie with whipped topping. He let me have a taste, I don’t like whipped cream, but this tasted homemade and not store bought. If you are in Godfred,Illinois check Shivers out.

The young people who work there are always friendly and conscientious. They have a very extensive menu. The custard is amazing and they can concoct almost any drink you might want.
