absolutely hands down the best Gulf shrimp I’ve ever had in my life!! the proprietor was friendly and fast with his service. I’m hoping I can stop by before I head home to get snow crab and take with me as he sells prepared seafood as well as market style seafood. additionally he’s a Vietnam vet, support your troops y’all and get fed good!!

Talk about a hidden gem, this place is wonderful. From the delicious menu to the sweet treats if they’re available, to all the homemade soups/sides etc. I love that they’re family owned because they treat you like one of the family when you’re there, especially the owner – he’s such a personable and warm guy. Definitely a new place to visit frequently- if you haven’t tried this place yet – definitely do because it’s definitely worth it.

Nice little quaint restaurant. Friendly staff, great food. Our new go-to for seafood! Wife says best New England Clam Chowder she’s ever had. I fell in love with the “9” bean salad.

Had a great experience at The Fish Guy. The seafood was impressively fresh—especially the shrimp. I started with the smoked salmon dip, which was creamy and flavorful with just the right amount of smokiness. For the main course, I tried the grilled shrimp and the lobster roll. The shrimp were perfectly grilled and well-seasoned, and the lobster roll was rich and satisfying without being too heavy. Overall, it’s a solid spot for quality seafood and a relaxed dining atmosphere. Will definitely try the grouper next time!

My new go to place for dining. On a scale from 1 to 10 I would give this place a solid 17! The seafood was awesome! The service was outstanding! And I love the decor. Don’t forget to try all of the soups, New England clam chowder was delicious. They have seafood also to buy and take home.

Everything was delicious this is a nice little hidden gem of a place!
Small little cafe with a few tables and a fish counter Togo as well!
They have all the fresh seafood you could want, grilled fried or steamed! All sides were good too. We tried the regular and sweet potato fries, corn, and pasta salad. The blackened grouper, cod fish and chips and honey flounder were amazing! Will definitely be back for our next seafood fix!

Eat in their little café or grab a cooked meal to go, or just buy any kind of fish, clams, soups to go and cook up at home! Best fresh seafood around, friendly service the fish guy who helped me was so kind and friendly! We got 200 Cedar Key little neck clams in 100 count did medium and large and about a pound of grouper to grill and throw on roll for sandwiches! A little over $100 for all 3 things. But if I went to a restaurant bought a grouper sandwich for $20 and 12 clams not 200 would cost around $25 and 12 is not satisfying! Great little shop and definitely worth the money to get a made meal or take fresh to go and make yourself a dinner!
