I came to Corner Pub & Grill for happy hour (referred by ChatGPT) and, overall, it was just okay. It didn’t quite live up to the hype for me.
The happy hour itself isn’t that impressive. The prices feel a little high for what you actually get, especially compared to other spots in the area. Service was fine overall, but I was frustrated that when I asked for salt on the rim of my drink, and she kept overfilling it so lots of foam and spilling everywhere. It’s a small detail, but those little things matter.
The spinach dip was decent, although the pita chips were overly salted. As someone who considers herself a bit of a wing connoisseur, I ordered the one-pound buffalo wings (even after the server recommended the Chinese takeout flavor). I was surprised to receive only eight wings for $16… that felt pretty expensive for the portion size. The buffalo sauce also had a noticeable sweetness that wasn’t my favorite. I wouldn’t personally recommend the wings.
Another thing to note: Verizon service doesn’t seem to work well inside, which made it difficult to check messages. The music also wasn’t really my vibe, it was a bit unusual and not what I’d expect for a casual happy hour atmosphere.
On the positive side, the space itself has a cool vibe, and the menu offers a lot of variety. I also noticed quite a few takeout orders, so maybe that’s more of their strong suit.
Overall, it wasn’t a terrible experience, but it wouldn’t be my first choice for happy hour and I don’t think I will return.

I ordered the crispy chicken salad with the ranch dressing on the side. The chicken was just cooked so it was hot and juicy and very tender. The chunks of tomatoes and cucumbers were fresh and tasty. Of course I ate the chicken first then the chunks of tomatoes and cucumbers. When I got to the lettuce I noticed I had way too much brown lettuce in the bowl. So I started separating the brown lettuce from the rest. I know this happens at times but the quantity of the brown lettuce was overboard so I told the bartender. She asked if I wanted the kitchen to make me another salad and I said no thank you. I told her to let the kitchen know the chicken was fabulous and so were the chunks of tomatoes and cucumbers. The manager came over and thanked me for letting him know. The manager went above and beyond by removing the salad from my bill.
Excellent Customer Service!!!!
I’ll be back!

Food was delicious. The service was excellent. The restaurant was clean. The time we were there it wasn’t real busy. They serve coke products, Dr Pepper and diet Dr Pepper. My only drawback is the price of the drinks, tea, soda…$3.95

You can not beat a place that has a full gluten free menu. The struggle is real. Reading menus at all restaurants before going to find out if they will have anything safe for you to eat.
The gluten free bun was soft and delicious. Nothing like the mass produced buns at the grocery stores.
I can’t stress it enough. Its amazing to be able to order what I want off the menu, not what I have to order.

Some people rated the corner pub with not very good service, but our service was just fine today. I had the egg and tater tot burger and my wife had the salmon BLT. I certainly would come back again.

The sweet potato fries are the best I’ve had anywhere. The bayou chicken wrap needed more flavor but the Nashville in a basket was amazing.

Upon arrival I was seated by a polite and friendly hostess, and the waiter swiftly took my drink order. The restaurant is very open with plenty of seating, with booths, tables, and a bar front for those looking to come in for drinks. I ordered an espresso martini and coca cola, the martini was a little on the sweet side, the coca cola had that nice bubbly mix you want from a fountain drink. I ordered the Nashville in a basket, potato skins, and mind blowing chili for starters. For entrees I ordered the french dip and queso burger, with fries, both regular and sweet potato, as well as pub chips. The Nashville in a basket came with boneless chicken and waffle fries with pickles layered in queso and sauce, I asked for buffalo sauce with the chicken as well. The chicken was juicy and tender and cooked to perfection, and the sauce and queso really elevated the flavor, the waffle fries were somewhat under seasoned. The chili and potato skins were average and what one would expect from a diner. The french dip, pub chips, and regular fries were average and what you would expect of pub food. The queso burger was brilliant, it was quite juicy and unique in flavors, with fried jalapenos, and a light yet flavorful layer of queso and tortilla chips, additionally the sweet potato fries were exceptionally seasoned, and had great flavor. If you’re looking for an American cuisine pub and grill, that has something for everyone, and has good service and an inviting atmosphere, you can’t go wrong here, Corner Pub and Grill even offers a gluten free menu for those with Celiac’s. I highly recommended trying their sweet potato fries, and if you’re having any chicken, their buffalo sauce is ace

Food looked way better than it tasted. The “gluten free” mozzarella sticks had no flavor. Bacon on my burger was limp, fatty, and under cooked, ended up picking it off rather than eating it. The fries were lukewarm and soggy.
Nothing came out hot, despite the place not even being half full. Waitstaff acted like serving you was an after thought. No desire to go back.

This was my first time eating at this location. I have eaten at the Valley Park location about a year ago. I was not at all impressed with my chicken sandwich. For some reason they couldn’t make the Nashville hot chicken because they were out of the sauce or something. Seems ridiculous! I then ordered the chicken sandwich without the Nashville hot sauce since they didn’t have the sauce. What a sad excuse for a sit down restaurant chicken sandwich. I would have expected to be getting a hand breaded chicken breast, but what I got appeared to be a frozen chicken patty that was just fried up (I should have taken a picture of it, but forgot to do it). The chicken patty was barely visible under the bun! Totally not worth the $16! I have had better chicken sandwiches from Chick-fil-a or even Wendy’s. I was tempted to say something, but just ended up eating this poor excuse for a chicken sandwich! I don’t think the Nashville hot sauce would have even helped much! The fries were nothing special, either. Definitely very mid! I do not see myself returning to this restaurant anytime soon.
