We seen Lefty’s on Facebook and had to come down and give it a try. I’ve lived in Tacoma most of my life and never knew of this place. The Deluxe bacon cheeseburger was delicious we truly liked that they have a French fry and onion rings mixed choice. The onion rings are really good. My granddaughter enjoyed her chicken and fries. Next trip down we will try the shakes. Looks like they have a wide variety. No inside seating but some outside seating. We will definitely be back soon.

I tried their Bacon Cheese burger ($6.75), a Double Cheese burger ($7.95) and a Raspberry milkshake ($5.25). Everything tasted good, especially the double cheese burger. The cheese melted around the patty and made it taste kinda creamy. The milkshake was great.
It was quite busy, we waited for about 20 minutes.
They have plenty of parking and about 7 picnic tables.

I have a big family and we ordered quite a bit. The burgers were amazing. The bacon actually had flavor to it, not just bland texture. Onion rings and fries were also really good with crunchy texture and just the right amount of salt. I had four different flavors of milkshakes. They all tasted great. The food was all cooked perfectly. The staff was extremely friendly and had good vibes. I will definitely be coming back!

I love Lefty’s, I just had to dock a star because it takes so long, even if there’s not a ton of people. You may as well go out to sit in a restaurant. And they are very hard to get ahold of on the phone so you can’t even place an order ahead of time. I wish it didnt take so long because I don’t always have 25 minutes to wait in a parking lot, but I love the food and people!

HITS THE SPOT ~ My son and I while out exploring the back roads on our Harleys when we found this little joint. Plenty of parking and had that old burger joint feel. The woman taking our order was friendly and making us laugh. There were about 29 people in front of us but the line kept moving. The food took longer than a fast food establishment. But when you got your order. It was well worth the wait. The fries were perfect golden and fluffy on the inside. The dogs were perfectly cooked and juicy. And the burger was spot on.
We will be back that’s for sure.

Ok after serious deliberation, a Einstein level of mathmatics, and a small existential crisis, I have decided that this is the best burger I have ever had in my life. The double deluxe is the perfect balance of ingredients, packed with flavor, and all at a price that won’t break the bank. I will say I am not a fan of crinkle fries, they are clearly the worst form of potato, however their onion rings are amazing. Service was fast, there was a constant line of about 3-4 people but no one was waiting long, they zipped through and got our food quickly. Lastly, that shake… I’m a big banana shake fan and they nailed this. We will absolutely be back for some more of the best burger in Tacoma.

This is hands down my favorite restaurant find of the year. It’s a total time capsule. I love the whole design they’ve got going on and the way the menu doesn’t try to do too much. They know exactly what they’re good at. I got a deluxe bacon cheeseburger, a shake, and some fries, and it was all under $20. This place is perfect for grabbing a good old American burger, a little slice of that classic roadside charm. Plus they’ve got benches made out of old surfboards, which is just so cool.

I love to find the out of place Burger shacks around my area and at least try them once. I found this one while starving down the road at the laundry mat. Sure there is a place to buy food next door but it’s a gas station with little options for hot food. So I looked on Maps and pressed the restaurant tab and bingo there is a little burger joint just 6 blocks away. And they are the old school Drive in type. Walk-up to the window look at the menu, order, then wait for your name to be called. I love these types of places the menus are usually small, to the point , and have a few things no one else around the area has, and milkshakes with so many flavors it’s crazy. And I have noticed that there are always a flavor or two that no one else in the area has. Which makes the experience all the more better.

Talk about a good ol fashion burger! Great place for a good burger and fries/ onion rings if your in the area. Staff was great and made everything fresh to order. little outta the way but worth stopping by. Can’t wait to go back and try the shakes.

1st time on May 10, 2025, and immediately pulling up, there was a bit of traffic. Upon walking up, the menu looked interesting. I ordered 2 bacon cheese burgers and 1 blue cheese. I got all 3 bacon cheeseburgers. The burgers are not good and have many gristles, which are not easy to chew. The half fries half onion rings are just 3 onion rings and the rest fries. Bread does not seem fresh and, overall, 1st and last visit. Frisko Freeze or Luckys it is. I don’t recommend it at all!
