Great place for a pint ! Currently about 70+ beers on tap. Bartender very knowledgeable about the current beer selections. Ordered clam chowder and nachos. The chowder was typical NE style. It came out hot and very flavorful. Plenty of clams. The nachos were not really to my liking.
I don’t care for the cheese sauce, I like regular cheddar/mozzarella. The bbq chicken was good.

We went to Horseshoe Hudson Pub after Hudson Fest with my whole family (12 of us!) and they still fit us in, which was awesome. The place felt super cool, kind of like a real gastropub—my mom and dad said that too.
I was most hyped for the food. The ramen bowl was amazing, full of flavor. The hot chicken sandwich was crispy, spicy, and really good. The pastas were okay, not my favorite but not bad either.The best part? Dessert. The cookie with ice cream was warm, melty, and so good—I could eat it every time.

Stopped in for a shared lunch of clam chowder and a chicken sandwich with bacon, lettuce and tomato, with fries. Both were good although I wish I asked for the bacon to be well done. The sandwich was large and I had to take half home for a later dinner.

Great Beer, Great Food and most importantly, GREAT STAFF! The front of the house staff has been there forever, and from a customer point of view, that means the staff gets treated well! Live Music on Fridays and Saturdays ! Don’t pay attention to the review from Patricia, live music is fun! Not annoying..it’s a pub after all
One of the first restaurants in Hudson and is still in business after 45 years which is incredible these days! Bar staff is great! Always treat us well when we come in 🙂

The Hose Shoe Pub has excellent pub fare! Don’t miss the Shepherd’s Pie, Lobster Bisque, Bourbon Steak Tips, or the Salmon Salad. Everything on the menu was available, unlike a nearby local establishment. The Old Fashioned was made to order with Knob Creek and was delicious. The service was fast and friendly. The atmosphere was lively and d October-festively. We even got several custom made mugs from Jack’s Abby Craft Lagers. Will eat here again!

Its a nice little spot but man, past that there’s not a lot to get excited about here. Sat at the bar for about 10 minutes without even being noticed. Finally I waved down one of the bar tenders and asked for a water to which he opens up with “Oh sorry about the other bartender not seeing you, she cant see over the bar!” First of all, not even funny. Do your job. Than I ask for a water and it was clearly tap. But not even like decent tap water I’d give to a dog, tasted absolutely awful. So than I get a Coke / Pepsi instead and that tastes like the lines havent been cleaned out in years. Bars filled with mostly locals , and clearly the staff has been there for years so no need to do your job when it doesnt matter to you. Fish and Chips was decent at best. Frozen fries, basic cole slaw. I would never come back here even if you paid me.

We had an amazing experience at the Horseshoe Pub last weekend. The Spicy Ramen Bowl was absolutely delicious. We ordered the Reuben Egg Rolls as an appetizer and they were perfect. They have all different kinds of food for whatever you’re craving! We loved watching Two Left perform as well. Our waiter Andrew was so welcoming and attentive to our table. We felt relaxed and happy the entire time. Highly recommend!

EDIT: came back the next day for the beef stew!! We don’t live in the area and it is that good to go the next day and took a picture of how awesome it looks!!!
Great place!! I had the Sweet D salad with steak tips. Very yummies!!! BUT – my husband had the Beef Stew!!! It was AMAZING!! I never eat off his plate but I couldn’t help myself!! Flaky tender meat great flavor! Bad pick of the stew since we ate the flaky pastry puff off already and with me trying to grab more he was eating it wicked fast!!
