Tony’s Pizza is a local, family-owned restaurant chain serving authentic NY-Style Pizza, Stromboli, calzone, Italian dishes, subs, salads, appetizers, and desserts.
Brothers Vinny, Mario and Tony, are from and grew up in Brooklyn. They’ve always been in the food business. Thanks to their Italian origins they love and know a thing or two about making pizza!
Speaking of pizza, if you haven’t tried the delightful NY-style, now is your chance. Crispy, yet chewy, it’s hand tossed and baked to perfection in our specialized ovens.
We have Tony’s locations throughout Charlotte, Huntersville and Mooresville and one in Hickory. Our sister store, Mario’s Pizza, is in Winston-Salem, Greensboro, Clemmons and High Point.
Casual eatery with oversized NY-style pies & slices, plus Italian subs & red-sauce entrees.

Nice, clean, authentic NYC thin style pie. Xtra large slices. Crisp, delicate, crackling crust with a moist, gently chewy gum-line. Maybe not the very tippy top best but easily among the top teir of CLT region. Easily. Price & excellent Cust Svc rounds out a trip well worth it. Highly recommend

Tony’s on Overland, used to be my go to for NY style pizza but the last few times I’ve ordered there, they’ve fallen off. Not only has the prices increased, like everything else in the economy, but their topping amounts decreased as well. Paying over $2 for a topping only to get a few sparse pieces strewn across your pizza is outrageous. The slices used to be delicious but now they’re just paper thin crust with a watery dollop of marinara and hardened thin layer of cheese. The garlic knots are always hard and overcooked and no longer soft inside. Unfortunately, they are no longer worth it. After this third time going and being disappointed, I can no longer support them.

I am still trying all of the highly recommended pizza places in the Charlotte area. I think this place has other locations around Charlotte. I heard a lot of good things about this place so here I am. I got a pepperoni slice and the toasted ravioli with marinara. The pizza slice was large hot and fresh that was $4.50 good price. The toasted ravioli reminded me of my days living in Chicago simply delicious. Everything came out quick.

I have eaten here so many times and my sub tasted delicious and consistent each time. I get the hot turkey sub and it tastes like those old school Italian subs that take me back to the mom and pop restaurants I had growing up. The kitchen is clean, they try to keep the tables clean and they do a really good job for the amount of turn over. I love eating here!

I’ve been coming to Tony’s Pizza for many years. The quality is still as good as it always has been. When I’m in Charlotte that’s one of the first places that I stop.

This is a legit NY pizza! We ordered a pepperoni pizza, teriyaki wings, garlic knots, mozzarella sticks and ravioli bites. All of it was fresh and hot. I personally wasn’t a fan of the garlic knots, but my employees liked them. Everything else was on point!
Order at the counter, pick up your food, and enjoy! It’s delicious.

The pizza is really good. I had to wait over 35 minutes for my food, but it was good. They accommodated my order, weren’t rude, not overly kind either.
I got a 19 inch pizza with half “5 boroughs” and half peperoni and it came out to $30. Maybe I don’t know how much it should cost but I thought that was alot for a pizza.
Definitely some of the better pizza I have had in Charlotte, I would come again.

Ordered delivery here through door dash. Pictured is the large Italian sub and onion rings. The sub comes with ham, salami, provolone, lettuce, tomato, mayo, onion, banana peppers, oil and vinegar. The sub was good but I wish restaurants would not use those end slices of tomato :-/ The sub could have used some more banana peppers and some oregano. The oil and vinegar was good but they should separate them in the container (i.e. oil in one and vinegar in another) I’ll have to request that next time. Overall, I would order it again. Nice and warm. The onion rings were tasty and a good portion, nice and crisp. FYI, they did not come with any dipping sauce. I would order from here again!

My favorite pizza place. New York style pizza very satisfying by one slice. You wouldn’t be disappointed. Call ahead because they’re busy. And they also have a point system you earn each time you purchase a pizza. Enjoy.
