Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

My Avocado Bacon Burger & Fries were excellent. The “Limited Time Only” Chicken Fajita Taco was unbelievably good! I was amazed I was eating a simple, but perfectly prepared & spiced, very generous serving of a juicy Chicken Taco for $7, & at a (primarily hamburger) fast-food restaurant! This location is very clean, the employees focused & professional. My opinion, fast-food can’t get any better than this. Only catch for me: bring a sweater if youre dining-in!

The past two times we have placed curbside orders we have had to wait around 30 minutes for someone to come out. I have a baby in the car, there is a reason I place curbside and don’t walk in. I think they have gotten used to all the door dash drivers going in and grabbing things, they wait for a max amount of time before attempting to bring the food out. After I called (waiting 30 minutes this time), I asked if the food had been out waiting that long, they assured no, but it was cold when I got home and the cups had a ton of condensation already from sitting. This should be a health code violation!!! This location used to be awesome, but has gone downhill! O and they also forgot the fruit chews, and honey mustard I paid for. So frustrating!

Don’t get me wrong, I love whataburger, but I lowkey feel their food quality has gone down. Maybe it’s just this one.
Every time I order, whether it’s in person or online, this place never puts cheese on my burger. Idk what the point of me paying $1.50 extra is if they never once remember. (Mind you, this has happened over 6 times) I’ve resorted to just getting chicken if I want my order to be right or putting cheese on at home. I miss the one I used to live by, everyone who worked there was lovely and wouldn’t leave you standing at the counter for five minutes while they yap and joke around and straight up ignore you. 😛 Lowkey barely worth it to come here, I might start going to one further out

The service was perfect. I ordered a double patty and it came with a single patty, amazing costumer service that they came and questioned me about it. I complained to the manager, who was excellent and perfect since she touched my food with her gloves after she just touched money, I find it disgusting. And, then she wanted to sing I guess because she was yelling at the store about me, but she ain’t no good singer, her voice wasn’t as good.

I waited 20 minutes in the drive-thru only to receive the wrong order. I had to go inside to get it corrected, and two people started touching all my food and giving me the same food back after several people had touched it. The supervisor in charge then started being rude, telling me that one of the hamburgers was correct. I asked for a refund, and they made me wait again while they talked badly about me in the back. Don’t come here at all go somewhere else.

I ordered 2 patty melts and spicy chicken sandwich- imagine my shock to get the patty melts on buns. Where is the ____ Texas Toast? I called the location and the manager said they have a shortage of TT so they are rationing out what they have. My response ma’am do you know if you would have mentioned this at the time of my order, I would have possibly chosen something different. Her response most of the times customers don’t care about the bun. She did offer to remake the sandwiches, when ever they got Texas toast.

My order was canceled twice online due to a whataburger technical issue the manager Sonia os arguing with me and refusing to rectify the issue. Such terrible customer service. I will never come back to this location.
