Ordered smoked salmon Benedict requested NO ONIONS
Staff willing to engage in light conversation during slower periods. (When they have to be here and end of day times)
I ordered a pickup order:
1. Biscuits and Gravy: my biscuit was literally burnt and tasted grainy/flaky and not flaky in a good way. It like crumbled like it wasn’t one solid biscuit and was also hard in other spots. Pretty hard to ruin a biscuit. I’m shocked they served a burnt biscuit. 1/10 biscuit, 6/10 gravy
2. Strawberry French Toast: While I don’t expect things to look exactly like the website picture the difference is astounding. I’m attaching the web pic vs the pic of the soggy, French toast. They definitely use frozen strawberries not fresh and it’s like maybe they weren’t thawed all the way because the container is covered in the juice. The strawberries had like a grayish hue to the red. Just sad overall. Also for fun there was a rando piece of corn. 2/10
3. Avo Toast: honestly the only decent thing. While not amazing they were at least generous on the avo. It was a little overly oiled and still didn’t appear super appealing. 5/10
$40 something dollars… for the pics below…
Cons: Because of online orders, wait for food ended up being 45 minutes. Wait is okay, but staff gave quick apology and didn’t give our 1 & 3 year old anything to hold them over, also no updates time estimates. Should’ve walked out, since kids were losing their poo.
