We had such a wonderful family dinner at The Spice Garden in Round Rock. We are a family of two adults and three kids, and all five of us thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
The food was absolutely delicious. The chicken was incredibly soft, tender, and cooked beautifully, and the spices were not overwhelming—they were elegant, balanced, and full of flavor. Every dish felt thoughtfully prepared, from the sizzling appetizers to the rich curries and flavorful noodles. You can really tell that care goes into both the seasoning and the cooking.
A special mention to our server, Aqdas A, who provided warm, attentive, and professional service. He helped make the evening smooth and enjoyable for our family, and we really appreciated his hospitality.
It is not always easy to find a place that satisfies both adults and children, but The Spice Garden did exactly that for us. Great taste, lovely presentation, and excellent service made this a memorable meal. We will definitely be coming back.

A large comfortable restaurant with high ceilings that absorb the sound of other patrons so you can easily hold a conversation. The restaurant says it is Indo-Chinese which to them means they have separate sections on the extensive menu for Indian and Chinese dishes.
On this occasion we were hankering after fried rice and were delighted to see several options on the menu. My wife ordered chicken fried rice, I ordered shrimp fried rice, both with no hot spices. We started with veggie spring rolls, which were excellent and veggie sweet corn soup which was also excellent.
Both fried rice dishes were also delicious, and the portions were generous enough that we took half of each dish home for our supper the next day.
On this occasion we both drank water and our total bill was $55 before tip. Service was excellent and the restrooms were clean and well stocked. We will be back to try food from the Indian offerings on the menu.

First time in Austin and this was our first meal here. Halal Indo-Chinese. We ordered Mongolian beef and Chicken 65 fried rice. It came fast, was packed well, and tasted fresh with really good flavor. Honestly just hit the spot after a long day. We were so happy with it. Definitely ordering again when we’re back in Austin.

Service and atmosphere were great. Portion size for food was large and easily shared between two people. Flavor was on the bland side. We got the garlic naan, chicken 65, and Mongolian beef. We were told the chicken 65 was spicy, but neither one of us noticed much spice. Overall not a bad place, but wish the food was more flavorful.

I arrived at the spice Garden restaurant I was greeted with such warm and friendly personality from Mr.Aqdas on my first visit. I had never earned here before but once I asked Mr Aqdas he highly recommended a couple of dinners. He really put the effort in explaining the foods and how well everything tastes he recommended that I should try the fried rice first he asked me what did I like and I was quite familiar with fried rice shrimp fried rice that is so he recommend to try the shrimp fried rice with lamb and I did it was amazing. So I came back the second time and I got it again it was even better the second time I would highly recommend to do the three meets with the fried rice it’s amazing. Thank you Mr.Aqdas for recommending the food here at The Spice Garden I have found my new home I love this place. They’re very neat clean organized and the place smells amazing I will continue to come back to the restaurant because the second time I met the rest of the staff they all were amazing friendly and extremely helpful thank you guys for greeting me and being so nice. Special shout out to Mr.Aqdas his energy and spirit is very outstanding he makes the place feel more at home I enjoy talking with him very friendly an extremely professional well done sir well done thank you. I highly recommend this restaurant and ask for Mr.Aqdas.
