⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A New Favorite in Ontario!
We recently discovered this diner in Ontario, and it’s an absolute gem. The food was delicious — especially the homemade sweet rolls and the apple cinnamon toast, which were both out of this world. You can really taste the care that goes into the cooking.
Our server was a delight. She struck the perfect balance of being attentive without hovering and was especially kind and patient with our mother, who has dementia. That kind of genuine warmth is rare and so appreciated.
The atmosphere is simple but welcoming — a bright, clean space with historical photos of Ontario lining the walls. The booths were comfortable, and even though the place was busy, we only waited about five minutes for a table thanks to the quick turnover.
We left happy, full, and already planning our next visit. Highly recommend!!

Happened to see this restaurant on Google Maps while traveling thru the area – it was a great decision to come here. Very, very good breakfast – we had an omelet and pancake, and pork chops with eggs. Their bread is homemade daily – sourdough was delicious. Met and chatted with the owner and his wife. Service all around was great. The place was very busy and lively. You can tell the locals love this restaurant. Next time we come thru, I’m trying the creamy bacon gravy on homemade biscuits.

They were so polite and the food was the best around. They were also very busy and they have a large dining area so a person could have a birthday party or meeting there with the room it has. Also its roomy, nice seats and room to move around. It seems quiet with room to chat. They kept returning with coffee to give refills and any service needed, I asked for extra sauces, they came right away. Very great attitude staff and hurried to get the order to us, friendly and on the ball! We return often wit so much food to choose from and time to spend in a nice place for low prices and large quantities and quality food and atmosphere, staff.

The Plaza Inn is home for me and my two daughters. I’ve had the pleasure of trying almost the entire menu over time and have gotten to know the staff well. You won’t find better food, better friends, or better prices anywhere in Ontario, Oregon. Absolutely amazing—perfect for both family and business. I come here frequently for both.

Welp service was really slow and not that nice.
Food was basic but the portions sizes were pretty decent.
When you order the 3 pancakes just know they are HUGE and I mean bigger than the plate. The eggs, bacon were boring but the French toast and pancakes were ok, I think it’s kinda hard to mess that up…

Food in general is good, although the meat hamburger was a bit dry for my taste personally. Frugal with napkins and no cream for coffee, unless you ask. Salad was okay but I expected a little better for the price

I have always had amazing service, the food is always good, however, the owner, not so much. I was given my ticket today, signed it and left it at my table. This guy stood at his cash register and glared, hands on the counter like he might perhaps jump over and tackle me. I then realized that I had left the signed, already paid for ticket on our table. I walked back to the table, retrieved the ticket and handed it to him, he never said a word but continued to glare!! Not impressed at all. For a 100 dollar ticket, I feel like common courtesy might be extended?? Nope. Not impressed!!! It felt as if he was too damn lazy to pick up the ticket and needed me to accommodate him!!!!!! I feel bad for his staff if that’s how he treats people…
