Country Road Cravings
We stopped here while traveling on I64 on Labor Day. We had to wait just a few minutes to get a table but the host was hustling and doing a great job getting the tables cleaned and reseated. Our server was quick with the coffee and our food came out fast and tasted delicious, I asked for crispy bacon and it was perfect. Everyone here seemed to be working together well in a fast paced environment.

We always love a good waffle house. Service was exceptionally fast and waitress was good. I prefer service where the waitress is not overly intrusive and here our waitress did a wonderful job. She came back a few times but did not linger and interrupt our meal.

The waitress wasn’t very friendly. Just kind of tossed our plates to us. Food was ok. Ordered the breakfast bowl it was just thrown together (messy) bacon was extremely salty.
We wanted to set in a booth far from the door as it was cold. The waitress told us their are clean booths over there. We asked for the booth furthest from the door. She had attitude because she had to clean the table and never once told us it was ready. We just walked over to the table and sat down. Won’t be back

I’ve been going here for over 5 years at this point. it used to be superb, but the quality has dropped significantly. the servers at the time
of pickup blamed a chef named “ryan/brian”. the last two times i’ve ordered from here the wait has been extreme. one time we went we waited an HOUR for the food go be ready, only to go inside and have to tell the cooks that we had order that hadn’t even been started. the next time we went we got the same order, bacon egg and cheese hash brown bowl, and they forgot the eggs on the hash brown bowls, as well as the biscuit and gravy side that we payed for.

Had breakfast here not long ago, it was delicious service was fast and friendly ☺️ they had decent prices and offered refills on my ☕ coffee. We had a good outing while out running errands and doing Dr. Appointments.

Grandson wanted breakfast at Waffle House. I haven’t been to one in years. We entered and the place was hopping. It was about 9:30am and busy. We sat at the counter and ordered. The food was served hot, and exactly as we wanted. The hashbrowns were crispy. The eggs were as requested. Even the toast was surprisingly good. I’m going back when I can.

Common sense will tell you. That 3 waffles does not need all that plastic container. I go to the same spot every night or morning. Rather, they know to put it in one container. I asked them today why my 3 waffles were much more expensive than the $11 charge that I’m used to. Great food & service, as usual. But the atmosphere was definitely not pleasant as there was music blaring. It was not at an appropriate level for background music. When I asked our wonderful server, Kristen, about lowering the volume she said she would ask but it would probably be no. The volume of conversations in the establishment can be loud but loud music is not appealing when dining. My husband had trouble hearing me talk across the table.

My man Brian on the cooking station knows my food before I even get a chance to order. I walk in and he asks the regular, I smile instantly. If I’m having a bad day, he knows just how to make me smile and definitely knows how to make my steak just perfectly. Let me tell ya something, nobody will ever make my steak how I want it. I have to come here because Brian is the only person to make it perfectly how I want. He’s mainly the only reason I come here just to get a steak.
