Built in 1935- Stanley’s has been a Foulk Road and Norhtern Wilmington staple decade after decade. Stanley’s Tavern comes equipped with a banquet room for private parties, a main bar and dining room and a Saloon- great for game time fun. Stanley’s was purchased by Ashby Hospitality Group from Steve Torpey in July of 2024 making AHG’s 7th location and 4th concept.

We dined here today and had a nice experience overall. The pork ribs were the highlight — perfectly cooked, tender, and served with a delicious smoky sauce that we really loved.
The brisket was a bit dry, and the smoked salmon was simple but tasty. The mashed potatoes were excellent, and we also enjoyed the coleslaw.

Friendly staff, fast service, plenty of free parking, decent prices, food was good, wings hot however entree was warm not hot and fries a bit salty, dessert was delicious (hot apple tart with ice cream with caramel syrup)TV screens on multiple walls where you can watch multiple sports, music playing thru out the tavern, 2 entrances.

Great time. Haven’t ate here in 40 years. Called 4pm. Made reservation for 13 at 5:30. Walked in the door. Was immediately taken to our table. Thank goodness we had 4 children it was slightly tight. We all ordered drinks. Waitress was good. We all ordered different stuff. Some food was awesome, others a little dry. Waitress kept up with our party. It was packed. Celebrating my father’s 75th birthday. Great time, atmosphere. Thanks so much

We had a lunch on Monday ( $5.00 off all appetizers) we just wanted Spinach dip, & Nachos. Nachos are & were amazing! We couldn’t finish them. The crab Spinach dip was just ok…. needed more cheese… or crab. It was so, so…. a tad disappointed.

Stanley’s has been a staple for so many years. My husband and I use to frequent there weekly when we lived up the street. I was back not too long ago and it was the same delicious food I remembered. The Stanley sandwich is hands down my favorite. I’m pretty sure I could make 2 more sandwiches with the amount of meat that is on it.

I’ve been going to Stanley’s for over 30 years now. They have great burgers and ribs, and I love watching sports on multiple TVs they have placed throughout the restaurant and bar.
My wife and I love the new large glass garage door that opens to the outdoor eating area. Great place for good food with a relaxing and casual atmosphere. Go Birds!

Joint serving really nice pub-style fare! Good selection of drafts and non-draft beers as well. Really enjoyed the pizza, wings, and nachos. They have outdoor seating and we were seated outside in the middle of a belter of a rainstorm which made the experience very special and unique. Great food, atmosphere, and service at extremely affordable and reasonable prices. They also have offers everyday (I think). We went on a Monday and they had a $5 off on all appetizers!

Pub-style restaurant offers alternatives to pub-style grub. Chicken Fajita Tacos were nicely stuffed; Ahi-tuna salad had fresh and plenty of tuna and a tasty dressing. Waldorf Salad was a little heavy on the dressing. Guacomole was FRESHLY made and only $5. Cheesesteak egg rolls were a bit “doughy” but flavorful. Korean-Fried Cauliflower a nice touch. Always love the popcorn with cocktails waiting for the meal.
