Our server Brian M was fantastic. Ensured we had everything we needed and checked on us 4 times. Very friendly and answered all our questions.
We ordered the appetizer Pulled Pork Poutine. It was sweet and savory with a beer cheese at the bottom, so each bite had all the components.
Timbercreek Hot Chicken was delicious as well. Sweet heat with slaw and pickles made it the right combination. Plus you get one side and I choose the baked potatoes which was a nice size.
Fish and chips were a nice option. Both components crispy and a good starter sauce and slaw side. Great for those looking for a Friday Fish Fry.
The winter themed cocktails on point.
I had the salad with mixed greens and added the salmon (large portion!) Salmon is typically a crap shoot but they did not disappoint!
We finished it off with a lemon Italian cake. Great desert and great presentation with all the dishes.
Looking out the window gets you Austrian pine trees and big boulders and nice landscaping. Makes you forget about all the blacktop and cement and the music was the right volume and right genre. (Perfect for my 56yr old ears)
I have been told by others the food is consistent and we must give a nod to the kitchen staff.
Speaking of staff, ask to be seated in Destiny’s section. Destiny anticipated all our needs and we never had to ask for anything! (Extra Napkins, appetizer plates, ketchup. She just brought it out!)
Even the booths are designed with tall dividers. You don’t feel like you are on top of other diners.
This was probably my 3rd experience and won’t be my last. Good job guys, please keep it up.
Update: Sat in Kelsey’s section by the bar and she is on top of things and has a great smile! She Even offered items (not on the menu) the kitchen could make for the dogs! Thanks Kelsey!
Update2: Kelsey continues to work hard and still provide the smiles
Immediately seated by a friendly server. The menu was bust with a large selection of unique dishes. The selection of starters and dishes to share was noteworthy. Two folks ordered a shrimp/scallops dish, another a Philly Steak sandwich, and a pulled pork Sloppy Pig BBQ sandwich. Food arrived promptly and was all very good. Both sandwiches were so large they had to be dismantled to be eatable. The server was attentive with drink refills.
The building was faux industrial. Noise level was low until the crowds came, then it was uncomfortable. The brewery is in the basement, and a large glass floor area provided a nice view.
We all gave too marks for food and service and wouldn’t hesitate to return.
As Canadians who frequently travel to the southern USA during winter, this is our go to spot when we stay overnight at the Grove City Hampton Inn just across the parking lot.
Our server Nate, was great. He answered all questions thoroughly, and checked on us regularly without being over-bearing.
Our house burger with bacon and swiss, and the
salmon we ordered, came out cooked to absolute perfection.
This place has always been nothing less than a five star experience all around .
I highly recommend this place, their menu is vast and varied. If you can’t find something you like here, well, i’m afraid that’s a YOU problem !
The Chicken Marsala on the other hand was a big disappointment. It was ordered with asparagus, and the asparagus was terrible. The stalks were whole with the inedible ends of the stalks not removed. The asparagus spears were also super thin, much less than pencil thin. It was also undercooked and had to be returned to the kitchen. I love asparagus, but this serving was not at all appealing.
The chicken was ok, but the sauce contained only a few small pieces of mushroom. The chicken was served over mashed potatoes, which were ok, but again, nothing special.
I paid $29.00 for the Chicken Marsala, and I wouldn’t order it again if it was half that price. Very disappointing.
Service was good and it is a nice place, but we left feeling that there are much better options for the money. The stromboli seemed reasonable.
