Love Granny Clarks. Great cooks, staff and all. Love the breakfast and lunch buffets. The CFS can be cut with a fork and is delish!

Shocked! We were passing through town and saw this place on the map and thought meehh don’t really like buffets but I am pretty hungry. My attitude changed when I noticed the parking lot was packed and I smelled them cookin! Went in was instantly ready to eat. It didn’t look or smell like what you think of at a buffet. No. It was like walking in to an old woman’s southern kitchen as she tries to keep up with all the hungry neighborhood kids! Then the waitress (sadly I forgot her name) found us a seat. She was exceptional! Fun and informative to us out of towners. Quickly we got our plates and grabbed a bit of everything. Me being a big food snob and my wife and I both being chefs expectations were still low but rising fast. Let me tell you folks! The fried chicken is what the colonel was trying to make and never got close. The green beans, beef tips on potatoes everything… so good! Oh I almost forgot about the fresh warm rolls with sweet buttery deliciousness on top.

Had a horrible experience on our first trip here. Turned our to be due to us showing up when there was a buffet, and ordering off the menu instead.

We came back when there was not a buffet, and things were much better.
– burger was really good.
– the breakfast taco was full of flavor (too bad the salsa had absolutely zero spice or seasoning g to it, though). My local pet peeve is that restaurants in the area almost never season the food, and especially never make anything spicy.
– service was great.

We would definitely return… Just not during a buffet.

I’ll say Granny Clark’s was appropriately named… ALL of the food I tried on the lunch buffet reminded me of my “Nano”!!

I had the
•Chicken Fried Steak w/white gravy
•Meatloaf
•Macaroni and Cheese
•Mashed Potatoes w/white gravy
•Potato Salad
Dessert
•Apple Cobbler
•Lemon Cake

I’m 100% ready for a nap.
Thank you to the cooks, waitresses, & the rest of the staff for making this a great experience. We look forward to returning someday.

Absolutely fabulous food! Every single serving is made from scratch and it shows. Just like my Grandmother use to make. Definitely worth the drive. They had a buffet the day we ate there and it looked wonderful, for $14.99. We chose the blue plate special which included 3 sides, roll or cornbread and meat of your choice that was on the buffet. The price was $ 11.99 and included drink and dessert. We had the chicken fried chicken and hamburger steak with sautéed onions. The apple and peach cobblers were delicious as was the brownies. Granny Clark’s has been around for a longtime and I see why! If you are looking for fresh made home-cooked food, this is your place! Ask for Ryan, he’s great!

I am working in Texas & was told about this place & how great the food was well ill let you be the judge but I have been here twice & I am not impressed at all I specifically asked the waitress if the biscuits & gravy were from a can she told me it was homemade well if that is homemade you need to find a different home then I tried the steak & eggs & the overcooked that steak so bad it tasted like it was done on a charcoal grill I travel the US for work & was always taught to give to the mom & pop places but….. yeah they dont get my vote

If you’re looking for a comforting, home-cooked meal that hits all the right notes, Granny Clark’s is the spot to be. I had the pleasure of trying one of their burgers with a side of fries, and it was everything I hoped for—juicy, flavorful, and made with care. The fries were golden and crispy, the perfect companion to the burger.

But the real stars of the meal? The desserts. The apple cobbler was out of this world—sweet, spiced just right, and topped with a crumbly, buttery crust that melted in my mouth. And the lemon cake? Moist, rich, and bursting with fresh lemon flavor. Every bite was pure happiness.

Granny Clark’s isn’t just food—it’s soul-warming goodness made with love. I’ll definitely be coming back for more!

This is a traditional small town family diner with a down home atmosphere. They have a nice selection of daily specials and an all you can eat buffet. Everything was good and portions were large for a very fair price. Staff was nice.

I had a burger with cheese, curly fries, and a Dr. Pepper! I want to start this off by saying you definitely get more than what you pay for! The portions of food are huge and the food taste wonderful! Our waitress was absolutely wonderful I didn’t get her name but she did have a bow tattoo! She was so sweet, and she checked on my table multiple times to make sure we were doing okay! Their community was so very sweet, they all smiled and some made small talk! It felt like a warm hug and I would definitely recommend checking this place out!!

Food was that good home style cooking. I had the buffet but my friend had the burger and onion rings. Everything was good. The waitress and cashier were so nice! Our waitress was very tentative. The buffet had chicken tenders, meatloaf, chicken fried steak and gravy, liver and onions, creamy mac & cheese, mashed potatoes, brown gravy, fried potatoes, cabbage and a small salad bar and your choice of dessert cobbler, spice cake and a delicious lemon cake.
