We heard good reviews for this place so we decided to check it out. Wow, the food was very good! My husband, who doesn’t normally like seafood, decided to try the bacon wrapped scallops. He LOVED it! I had a grilled seafood platter that I shared with my husband. I was very impressed! The server, Parker, was awesome! The owner, Patricia, even came over and sat down with us to chat a bit. Such a down to earth lady. She was great! The restaurant was beautiful. We will definitely be back!

Always great service and food! Tonight we had the calamari and it was great. Also tried the bang bang shrimp appetizer and it had a delicious kick! They have frozen margaritas and on the rocks. Burgers are huge and very tasty. I love their blackened Mahi and their caper sauce. Asparagus isn’t on the menu but ask if they have any that day and if they do, I suggest you order it. My husband ordered the grilled fishermans platter. He loves their crab cakes. The only thing is the lighting. We wish it was slightly brighter but that’s the only thing and isn’t even a big issue. If you’re in town I suggest you stop here for a meal. We used to love going to the big fisherman so we were stoked when we found this place!

We came here for a birthday dinner and we were not disappointed. Food was delicious and the serving sizes where big!! We had appetizers, drinks and dinner and everything was spot on. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for good seafood. 6 of us ate and drank at a cost of 200$ and left with 3 boxes of leftovers, so price point is very reasonable.

Inviting atmosphere with comfortable and roomy seating. We had a very friendly server who suggested the Bacon Wrapped jalapenos, and they were delicious. There is a good selection on the menu with reasonable prices. Raw oysters were on the small side and the price of them were a little higher than we expected. We will stop back again.

I have a mixed reviews. I loved The Big Fisherman so I was excited to try this restaurant. This was my second time there and I was a little disappointed in the price vs. portion size. I ordered the 2 combo with fried shrimp and oysters. The shrimp tasted amazing! Clean, cooked perfectly. My oysters (this was my second time getting oysters) where soggy on the bottom. They tasted fine though. I also ordered a side of grilled scallops. They were cooked perfectly. So all in all the taste of the food is awesome and I loved it. Now the place I was hung up at is the cost. My combo plate was $16.99 and I got 4 shrimp and 4 oysters and a baked potato. That was basically $2.12 a bite. Other local places offer the same portion size for $9.99… $10.99 if I want the potato. Also, I was charged $7.00 for the 3 scallops. I didn’t notice until I was home and looked up the price online and it should have been $4.00 which for how good they tasted would have been a bargain at $4.00.
While I will go back (because seafood is my life) I will opt for a different platters to see what I get. This was my second time. Friendly and extremely polite staff. Our waitress, Robin was very nice, informative, and energetic which made our first time visit feel like we’ve been coming for years. Ford was great! I got the combo (pick 2) fish and shrimp which was delicious and wife got chicken fried steak which she enjoyed. Kids ate fish and chicken tenders. We left with no complaints and full bellies. Thanks for the great experience.

Everything was delicious! We started off with a dozen bacon wrapped cream cheese stuffed jalapenos, the bacon was a crispy perfection with the cream cheese a perfect consistency. I had the stuffed fish platter with a house salad & the green beans & sausage for the sides. The fish filet has great seasoning! I also added 1 stuffed shrimp to my plate which was huge & delicious as well! He had a pound of the peel um shrimp which was flavored nicely & good sized shrimp. David was our server & he was very nice. I didn’t see what I wanted on the menu & the owner came over & was very accommodating & friendly! Great experience, a new favorite place to dine!

My friends from lowes recommended this restaurant amd i was not disappointed. Its a hidden gem. The fishemans platter was huge. The owners were very welcoming they made me feel like i was at home.Im from out of town and will recommend this restaurant to all my friends and family. We LOVE the Fisherman’s Daughter! We make the 20 minute drive from our town to Ingleside just to eat here. The service really can’t be beat. The owners actually serve tables and make sure everything runs smoothly. The food is excellent too! I HIGHLY recommend the bacon wrapped shrimp and blackened Mahi Mahi!
