Loved my time tonight. Huge portions of food. We had the hibachi dinner. Super fun service and the food was delicious. I was really surprised by how good the prices were and will definitely have this as our go to hibachi spot. Highly recommend the sweet potato roll. Perfect appetizer. I got so distracted by how good the food was I didn’t start taking pictures until after we started eating

The food was excellent and they sell half prices sushi during happy hour which is awesome considering sushi can get pricey!
We wanted to sit on the hibachi side , but the waiter told us the wait would be too long.
Shortly after the entire hibachi side was filled and booming so that was a little upsetting honestly , because we came for hibachi and the show.
Regardless , the food was delicious, we ordered a couple different sushi rolls
*peanut avocado
*pink lady
*eel avocado
*spicy crab and cheese
*sweet potato
My favorites were the sweet potato and the eel avocado!
There is seating on both sides of the restaurant but every table was filled
After that we shared a steak and chicken hibachi plate, it was just really wet with liquid.
That being said it tasted really good.
They offer either 3 or 5% off if you sign up for a rewards program for your first visit.
There’s available parking outside in a free lot
And there is a LOT OF PARKING AVAILABLE
The waiters were really tapped in to our needs as a table , the service was quick and uplifting even in a busy time.

I’ve been a regular at Shogun for almost 10 years! The service is very prompt and professional. I really enjoy the hibachi experience here as well as their normal sushi dining. The prices are very affordable compared to other Japanese restaurants and the quality + quantity is great. I always bring friends and family here

Not sure what happened to this place, but we are never going back. Used to have amazing talent. Now… not so much. We came here to celebrate a birthday, spent over $200 and expected a fun hibachi show.
Grievances:
1. We got there early, were seated for hibachi, another group was seated on the other end of the counter after us. When the chef came, he cooked for the other group with his back to us. No show. No tricks. He silently cooked, served everyone’s food, and left. We called the waitress over and asked what was going on. She basically said “oops. Sorry. They prefer that range hood.” “But we were here first.” “The chef didn’t know. Sorry.”
2. When we were seated, we told our waiter it was our sons birthday. He didn’t care. He was terse and to the point on getting our orders.
3. After we told the waitress we were upset, she offered us dessert on the house. We were stuffed because we ordered sushi and hibachi for all 5 of us. But we accepted, hoping to make the most of a bad night. It would have been better if they had comped part of the hibachi since we didnt get the show we were paying for.
Anyway, the waitress was helpful and kind. The waiter and chef had no social skills or grace to speak of. Even after years of going here, we are not willing to risk having this happen again. It was embarrassing to have chosen this place to celebrate. We wish you the best and hope you find better talent.

Can’t go wrong with the spicy crab rolls. The crunchy rolls are great. Try the octopus balls.

This is a true gem in Lower Bucks. I have been coming for years and the quality is always high. Prices are very reasonable, the atmosphere is cozy, and of course the food is fantastic. Best sushi in the area. The hibachi is also good but not the best in my opinion. When I come here it’s always just for the delicious sushi. Highly recommend the Spicy Shrimp Dragon and the Chicken Tempura roll.

Very disappointed. I was a long time customer. Always dined in and ordered out. I ordered takeout tonight and forgot to add spicy mayo on my order. I have done this before and the front desk has always taken care of me. Whether they edited my bill or told me to take care of it next time. I don’t know what happened today but the guy was rude and wouldn’t do anything and only wanted cash. It sucks to lose a long time customer over 2 spicy mayos

I haven’t been to a hibachi in a long time. You cant judge this book by its cover. The i side is very well keep, and up to date. The food is fairly priced and exceptionally good!! I would recommend Shogun and return again..

Friendly staff, attentive service, good size menu with fair pricing. Don’t see a reason to advertise 50% off sushi only to mark up the sushi prices, put a red slash through it, then have them be competitve with every other sushi place in the area. Just charge that price right from the start without the gimmick! Ramen was hot and very full of meat and add-ins that were offered. Tokyo Sashimi Roll was delicious, but too big to eat properly and fell apart when we were eating it. Would go back, just would order differently.

When dining at Shogun Japanese in Bensalem, PA, beautifully presented, plentiful plates are served. The decor is just as vivid and playful as the sushi . Clever flavor profiles make the menu worth perusing for the best bite. Booths and tables accommodated groups of four in our dining area. The vintage two-toned accent chairs were very cool and comfy. My formula is to get the lunch special and add as needed. As a discerning customer and former professional in FOH operations, extra attention to the details would improve the experience dramatically. Soooo, with that disclaimer, “Out of control roll” and Miso soup were delicious. (1st picture)
