My husband and I visited one afternoon before dinner. The restaurant had several tables with customers but it was not very busy. Our server was really nice, friendly and attentive. I ordered the appetizer nachos as my meal and it was delicious. Our server made sure to bring it with my husbands meal instead of an appetizer. If you go during Happy Hour, they have $6 appetizers and they are every bit as big as any other time, not a smaller version. I did order an All American Margarita and it was NOT good. At all. I didn’t drink it and the server did remove it from our bill. All in all, it was a good visit.

This was my first visit to this restaurant in Alabaster, AL and the experience was amazing. The service was excellent and our server Caleigh made our visit very pleasant and enjoyable!!!!! I will definitely return and I will absolutely love to be served again by Caleigh because she is the true example of how a server should be.

Food is really good. It wasn’t over salted like most places to today.
Service was actually great they were just very busy since it just opened.
It was a football game day so atmosphere was centered around that but if they ever have live music this will be an awesome place to come relax and eat some great food.
This is a great addition for Alabaster and I look forward to coming back.

Decided to visit this place because I saw a huge billboard on I65, while on my way to Shelby County. Wait wasn’t long as I decided to sit at the bar. The restaurant is new and has lots of offerings. I chose the glazed pork chops which were of good portion size, seasoned fries which were some of the best I’ve had and onion straws which were delicious. My server at the bar, (guy with ponytail) was very attentive and answered all my questions. He also suggested menu items. I would definitely recommend this place.

Me, my wife, and two boys went on their “soft opening” before the big opening and it was really good! The waitress, Morgan, was really fun and attentive. There was a wait, and they had great outdoor seating for people waiting with Corn Hole that my kids and other families enjoyed. They also have a fire pit with Adirondack chairs all around it for the cold months coming up.
For the food, we had their pretzel and beer cheese appetizer. It was great! We then ordered the wings, and bacon ranch cheese fries, which were also delicious. Morgan was even nice enough to offer us a sample of the hot sauces before we ordered so we could see which one we wanted.
Safe to say we will be back and recommend this to all of our friends and family!

We just had our company Xmas party and chose to reserve a room at Big Whiskey. The experience turned out to be excellent! Jana & BJ took care of us and did an amazing job. Drinks were kept full and food was quick, tasty and efficient. Thanks Jana/BJ for a great evening. Our employees work hard all year and deserve a memorable Xmas dinner and y’all came through.

Great atmosphere and awesome outside seating! The service was friendly and fast and food delicious! We had the Chicken spin dip wrap which had juicy grilled chicken, creamy spinach dip queso, lettuce, and flavorful tortilla wraps. Sweet potato fries and ranch were very good too! We can’t wait to go back and try some other options – plenty to choose from!

Caleigh was an extraordinary waitress and went above and beyond to meet our needs. We ordered the Rickhouse Ribeye steak which was absolutely delicious. My mom’s steak was a bit undercooked for her taste, so Caleigh took it to the kitchen and got it cooked to perfection without hesitation. We will be returning soon and expect to be met with impeccable service as we received this evening. See Caleigh if you’re at BW’s Alabaster. She’s top tier! Same is true for the rest of the staff. Go there!!

Will never grace this place with my presence or money again the only good thing about the meal was the fries and the whiskey flight I arrived at 6:40 seated at 7:30 didn’t receive my appetizer until 8:07 the only reason I didn’t blow a gasket was because Aniyah was an exceptional waitress …. my ribeye was way overpriced no marbling reminded me of a waffle house steak and my son’s sliders had to be dipped in water so you didn’t choke on the dust they were so dry ….. do not recommend but if you do want to go blow some money on terrible food at least ask for Aniyah she is exceptional at her job
