Being forced to pull to the front and have someone walk you food out is ridiculous . Nobody else was in line behind me as I say there for an additional 10 or so minutes. The whole process slows down me getting ky food but makes there drive thru times look faster. Who knows how long my food sat in that bag before making the trip to the parking lot . That’s not how drive thru works

Basically, if you look at the prior reviews, that would’ve been mine… This location was always “okay”, but super slow and everything was medium temp. Well the grill-master on the evening of 1/29/26 brought this location up about 1000 notches. My family of 5 has never had such high praise for a McDonald’s meal, but tonight smacked in a way that this location especially has never smacked. Keep this crew! It was also the fastest service I’ve received at this location in 10+ years. Keep this up! Because this town has gone too long with a wasted lot that serves cold food after waiting an eon

From the road it looked like drive thru only had one car little did I know this location has a designated waiting line for drive thru in front of building so it appears drive thru has less cars than it actually does. You place order, pull up to first window to pay, then next window hands you a drink and tells you to pull up to wait for your order. So you are waiting around the corner for your food…that’s deceptive! So I waited because I paid. It took a few minutes longer than an average McDonald’s drive thru. I recieved warm fries…yuk! The burger was hot and fresh though. I took a pic of the crafty drive thru waiting area and placed with this post. Don’t think I will be back…I will drive on thru to Sellersburg where the wait is shorter and the fries are hot.

If there was an option for zero stars, that’s what I would’ve put this location is ridiculous. We dined in. fries were cold They forgot to make our shakes, and when they did, it looked like vanilla. It was supposed to be chocolate. All the syrup was at the bottom of my mine my sons shake Looked more like vanilla than chocolate it’s not really a poor management. I think it’s more like people don’t care these days. It’s more laziness. definitely need to start going to a different location because the Charlestown location is a pure joke every time

I knew it was going to be a problem when the cars were wrapped around the restaurant. Ordering no problem but when we got to the window, they didn’t even open it for at least 10 minutes. We ordered at 4:48 PM. Didn’t leave the parking lot till 5:07 PM. We ordered a double cheeseburger plain it took that long do yourself a favor, never come here. It must be poor management or not enough employees if that’s the case you need to close your McDonald’s.

Every time I come here they always get my order wrong my food is always cold and they never get my food right they can’t a even make a burger right.. my burger was super cold they also messed up my chocolate milkshake I even found hairs in my food to that is ridiculous and no it’s not a one time thing I’m done going here.

Waited 30 minutes for my food. Once I got the food it was all cold. While waiting a worker went to the bathroom very loudly throwing up that we could hear them in the lobby then came out to continue working. The lady that handed us the food was very rude saying it wasn’t our food because my boyfriend went up to get the food instead of me and it was under my name from the mobile app. Ended up just throwing my food away and took the loss on my money.
