Ordered their Taco Tuesday deal. It’s a great deal for fish tacos and was quick service. The fish are pretty big for each taco and the sides help add that flavor kick depending what type of spice you may want, from the limes, sauce, or pepper. Each taco has the right amount of cream and cut lettuce on top, the fish is moist and firm. Location gets busy during the meal rush. Drive through loops around from the back. No parking lot so you have to park on the street.

I love the food here.. however I made an online order at 3:09 since I know it gets busy.. told me est time was 3:28-3:38.. well it’s been almost one hour since I ordered and it seems they’re making peoples orders over online orders that are already been paid for. Might as well order and wait since they serve those people first. Ridiculous.

Baja Cali tacos is my go to place for fish tacos & burritos. On a good month I’ll go there at least once a week. If you subscribe to their monthly newsletter you know what the specials are for the month. You can also order online if you don’t want to hassle with waiting in line. Supposedly your able to earn points each time you go, but I guess that hasn’t been integrated into their system yet because I am unable to redeem any points.

Stopped by around 4:30 pm on a Tuesday and it was packed! Expecting a wait if you’re going at that time, even the drive thru. Both the inside and outside seating were crowded.
I decided to get (2) fish tacos for the Tuesday deal and (1) surf & turf burrito. The fish tacos were decent. Some parts of it were crispy. For the burrito, I usually get this without the asada. The Spanish rice was pretty good and there’s a consistent amount of shrimp in every bite. The burrito is the go to when I’m here and hasn’t disappoint yet.
For parking, it would be street parking. Even with that, it was crowded the time I went, so needed to park further down.

AVOID THIS PLACE! If you’re looking for a quick lunch pick up, this is NOT THE PLACE! I decided to take advantage of their Fish Taco Special today (Tuesday), but if they would have told me how long I had to wait, I would have not wasted my time! I placed a phone order at 11:40am and I was told that my order would be ready for pick up in 15 minutes. I arrived at the location at 11:55am, made line, then paid, and asked for my order. I was told it wasn’t ready and I was asked to wait. The time stamp on my receipt was 12:02pm. I’m not exaggerating when I say I was given my order at 12:33pm!!!!! How crazy it that??!! In the interim, I continuously asked the cashier for an update on my order and I was told numerous times, “its up next”. The Fish Tacos are good, but to wait over 30 minutes for 4 tacos after placing a phone order is insane!!! I definitely will NOT be coming back. The location should not offer daily specials if they cannot keep up with the demand in a timely fashion.

First of all, I love food here. i was a customer since it opened in 2017 after the donut shop went out of business here. The employees are friendly and work hard as they can to make the orders. The salsa Verde is amazing, fish taco is good, and meat taco, too. I haven’t tried too much , so I’ll leave the food at that. It’s great, and on Tuesday and Thursday it’s the same but at a great price!
This part of the review is more for the owners and management. The issues I saw were lack of direction starting off with something as simple as the line to order, I waited in line facing the register and menu behind 2 customers, one ordering and one waiting to order then a lady walks in after me from the side under the menu and asks where’s the line? One of the employees tells me and the guy in front of me that we’re there before her that the line is behind the lady that just came in (wall side under menu). I’m on vacation and have no rush, so I just let it go. Secondly, I don’t know how orders completion go out (numbers names and size of order), and honestly, I’m not going to spend time on that, but it seems a bit flawed.
My last recommendation would be to add an online ordering window or something to help when you have lines out the door and Uber eats drives trying to get the food. I understand being busy on Taco Tuesday. You are going to experience longer wait times, but again, I feel like a little more direction might help tremendously. Almost 30 min wait on 5 fish tacos is a bit long, I will definitely come back, but since I do want Baja Cali to thrive and grow, I feel this would be constructive criticism.

Baja Cali is always our Top 3 options when choosing to eat. Ordering online and pick up is easy. They do get busy on Tuesday for their deal so it’s always good to place your order ahead of time or expect wait if going to the store. Service is good, we never have issues when it comes to getting orders mixed up and they are very nice.

This review is for my visit on December 10, 2024. Ordered for pick up. They gave me disgusting, used condiments to go with my fries, and for that reason I will never return again. It’s unfortunate because the food was always good but you have to wonder why there was opened, used ketchup in my bag. I think they collect condiments left over from people’s trash and they re-distribute them. Very nasty. Can’t trust their hygiene practices after that.

Tasty tacos in an unexpected place! I came to have tacos and meet with a friend. Not expecting much since I had never heard of this place, I was totally taken aback at how tasty their tacos were!
Parking seems limited but there is street parking available around. The area seems relatively safe, and there seems to be other businesses sharing the same parking lot.
The location is nice on a corner but seems to get a lot of traffic and so the outside and inside seating area is so-so clean, but the fish tacos make this place worth the visit. We were craving fish tacos so I ordered their baja Cali taco combo (comes with 2 with shrimp & fish) and it was fantastic. We ordered the ceviche which was quite generous but I did not try it though it looked tasty. I also ordered their fries which were and I enjoyed this place thoroughly! Highly recommended!

I was very much satisfied with the fish tacos from here. . But I did not enjoy the tacos because I was too busy eating them so fast . I would suggest everyone eat the fish tacos very slowly and chew the food into the smallest pieces possible. To try to enjoy them. I only ate 3 fish tacos that cost $10.77. It was worth it. The chia drink was $4.49, and it was a bit sour but good. The red sauce here was great. There was a lot of room to sit and eat inside and outside. I will definitely come back again here. I appreciate the service here.
