So I hate to leave really negative reviews but the staff needs to do better also. We stood at the hostess table for 10min before we were told to seat ourselves. Now the live music could have been the issue. We sat outside for the view. We have eaten here before so no biggie. We ordered everything at once cause we had a long wait before our server saw us. We had to flag down another server to replace the sour tea we were given. The food was great, just someone had a bad night. For the sever who we had to flag down, if you had to help us out, why not just keep an eye on us. I don’t care if it’s not your table, we’re paying money, we shouldn’t be penalized cause an employee is having a bad night.

Food and drinks were really good. Service was good but slow…there seemed to be 1 dedicated person to the outside venue and it was full because of the live music. The server was doing his best and our orders were always correct…it was busy and live music scheduled….made service slow. I do recommend visiting and we will be back.

So sad this place is so far removed from other areas, but that may be a contributing factor to it’s amazing atmosphere. The service was exemplary. The good was delicious and filling and the bartender actually made my old fashioned as directed AND it was delicious! Lol! Hanging off the Pier this is an open air island paradise that begs for you to enjoy the beautiful weather while you drink and/or eat.

My caribbean jerk pork nachos were raw. It was cold and raw. When I saw the raw meat, I tried to eat some and pick through it. I just couldn’t stomach it and didn’t want to be sick. My husband had a fish basket. His fries were cold. He said his fish was good. Our service was slow. We did tell our waitress the pork on my pork nachos was raw. She said she was sorry. There was also a service charge on our bill. We paid cash so Im not sure what it was for. We will not be back.

I don’t know about the food as we never got waited on. Wait. I take that back. We got two hot beers for $11. We waited 45 minutes and never got acknowledged we were even there. I’m not usually one to complain but dang! You could at least say I’ll be with you in a minute. Don’t waste your time. Just go to Avenue Pub and get waited on as soon as you get there.
