Stop by during our trip to San Diego California. I rated this place a 4 star because the taco meat was spicy after being told it was not. Definitely a thumbs down for someone who can not have spicy food due to health reasons. The beans and rice were good to go. Place offers free chips and salad bar of salsas and taco accessories. Restroom was clean.

We ordered 1 plate Chicken Abodito Combo with rice and beans + 1 medium soda.
This is a modern taqueria, you find your own seat and it could be difficult during weekend.
Food was so good, every plate was made by order. And don’t forget the Salza Bar, they have at least 7 different kind and did I mention about Free tortilla chips. Good food, quick service, nice, communicative cashier, easy to find parking and clean toilet. What else do we need?

Lunch was great. We hadn’t been to this Tacotote in years and it’s better than the one by the Outlets. The chicken was more flavorful and they give you a larger portion of cheese.

Tacotote is always a good option. Theb food is always good, the place is clean and their sauces bar is well kept. Besides the fact that they’re pretty quick to bring out your order and the staff is friendly. I always recommend this place or any of it’s locations.

Service was poor.
Served me soggy charro beans and with a straight face told me they’re refried beans, while sitting therein liquid like that?! We came in to sit down and eat, and we get a bunch of styrofoam filled with junk.
Who put this thing together?
Way too many great or even just plain good places to eat in El Paso to return to this restaurant.
UPDATE: Taco Tote got back to my comment a good year after I posted it. You’re telling me it’s not the normal packaging? The beans don’t look good? So you’re agreeing with me. Y’all treated me and my family poorly, served us in to go containers. Look at the table in my picture, then look at the counter tops at your salsa bar. They’re identical. Basically, I said our experience was a trashy one, and you try to say I’m lying. Got it. Your restaurant is trash, so is your attitude, you could’ve just said sorry.

It has good days and not so good days. Sometimes the sirloin tacos have less meat sometimes they are heavyweights.
I like the sauces but don’t expect a good spread in the evening they are usually low; sometimes the cilantro is just stalks and no leaves.
I tend to get sirloin tacos and pork adobado; charro beans are weak.

First time here today. Place was clean. Service was good. Got my food and came to hotel. Food smelled great but my order was wrong. Got two fajita tacos instead of one fajita and one chicken. Other than that, food was freaking delicious. The red salsa is on point! Next time I come to el Paso, will definitely hit this place up again.

Shrinkflation has hit Taco Tote! Not to mention the carne asada was old and was hard to chew. See attached photo. One of the salsas tasted old. My beans were all liquid and about 10 charro beans. A bag of beans is nit expensive. I recommend a non chain restaurant for a good meal.

So. I ordered right now. Please tell me why the nachos look depressing? I would never order these again. And really 24$ for this barbacoa? Please do not come to this restaurant. Everything was less than 1 star. I spent over 94$ on this order. And everything was disgusting. I’ve never had a problem before. So I’m guessing me employees? Or chefs for this time around? Not sure. But I’ll recommend the tacotote by the outlets on transmountain. Now that’s worth the food and money. This location. Please stay away.

Taco Tote always puts out great tasting food. They’re a little on the pricey side, but they always deliver on the flavor. The restaurant was clean and had well spaced out tables. Their Panchos plate is big enough to split between 2 people, btw.
