Like every great Mexican restaurant, staffed very well with super fast accommodating service. Decked out in christmas decor that was thoughtfully done. We had steak and shrimp fajita and a margarita. Would recommend!

My second time visiting and everything was great! I ordered the Fajita Quesadilla and it was so well flavored and filling. Alex was our server and what a GEM! We were so happy to have him. The restaurant is cute Americana meets Mexican, my food came out cold which sucked but it looks like they are pre-made and frozen then microwaved hence why the outside of the breading was luke warm and the middle was completely cold. I got the chile rellenos. ( which seems hard to find good ones in alabama) The service was good our waiter was very nice. But the food is just nothing truly to write home about. Also the music is super loud so it almost gives to much of a bar feel instead of restaurant.

This was my first time visiting this location. They were pretty busy but we didn’t have any problem finding a parking spot. After going in, we were seated immediately. No wait time. We received chips and salsa and our drinks within 2 mins. They have a decent size menu and reasonable priced. Our server was very, attentive, polite and friendly and gave excellent service. The food was very good well worth the whole experience. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and I will definitely be coming back. Keep up the good work!

Update 2025: Service remains about the same, friendly, but not helpful. Food has changed and prices have gone up.
We had 2 orders of Tamales Fabulosos with added carnitas, came out as 2 plain chicken tamales. Tried to get it fixed, the manager tried to tell us it’s never been a menu item even though we’ve gotten it many times before. Said he would fix it, it never got fixed. Went and grabbed a menu and found it in the specialties where it was The Whole Time.
Glad I went with the nachos Al Pastor, that was still good.
2024: Chips and dip were a letdown. Chips were greasy and stale; salsa was unexceptional. Our server was not bad, but not great either.
The food came out fast. The Nachos Al Pastor was Very good. The chips in it was crispy and there was a good toppings to chip ratio. The toppings were not overly wet and the chips maintained their crunch throughout. Grilled pineapple was a great flavor burst and there was enough to complement every bite. Highly recommended.

I had an amazing lunch at Buena Vista in Hampton Cove! The food was fresh, flavorful. I highly recommend the grilled chicken and rice. The staff was warm and attentive, and the atmosphere was so inviting. It’s the perfect spot for a delicious meal and great vibes. Can’t wait to come back!

We didn’t understand why this place only got 4.2 stars, because we found it to be an excellent Mexican restaurant.
The staff were very friendly, and they have a large indoor seating area with a sports bar feel in part of it, and they also have a large enclosed patio area with heaters. The main restaurant area was busy and somewhat loud, so we opted to sit in the enclosed patio, which was nice and quiet.
The salsa was very good with just a little heat to it without having to add hot sauce. The chips were thin and crisp.
We ordered house margaritas, and we both felt they tasted very good, but could be a little less sweet.
She got the trio quesadillas, which were very fresh and delicious. I got the street tacos, which were absolutely incredible. I’m not kidding when I say I never order tacos at a Mexican restaurant, but when we ask the server what she orders, she suggested those two dishes. We couldn’t have been happier with her recommendation.
The street tacos were some of the best I’ve ever had. I particularly enjoyed the pork field taco, as it was so savory and deep in flavor. The Charro beans were a delicious side with the tacos, especially after adding a couple drops of habanero sauce to them. They had a nice smoky pork flavor.
We would definitely return frequently if we lived in this area.

Food was good, portion size was good. I wish the food on the kids plate wasn’t run together. Maybe serve the taco on a separate plate. My granddaughter almost refused to eat the taco because it had refried beans all over the bottom of it.
