⭐⭐⭐⭐Lychee please drink: has a tart and bitterness but just slight. Gives grapefruit vibes even though it has pineapple.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Spicy Tuna: Delightful, the sauce is not too spicy and there is a crispness in it.
⭐⭐⭐⭐Spinach artichoke: a bit mild and liquidy but delish.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Califlower wings: deliciously fried to perfection with sweet and spicy sauces
⭐⭐⭐Firecracker: tasty with a little spice but there is another flavor I’m not fond of but still good.
⭐⭐⭐⭐Volcano: slavery crunchy deliciousness on top of delightful rolls.
⭐⭐⭐⭐Big Cookie w ice cream: the extra $4 for the scoop of ice cream is disappointing but still overall tasty. I’ve had better vegan cookies.
The bathroom beautiful but has a bit of an unpleasant odor so get in and get out.

The best vegan food I’ve ever had.
The pizza i could not even tell it was not mozzarella and the rest of the dishes were equally amazing. I just wish they would remove the meat names ( such as pepperoni and others) from the menu because even the regular non mock food tastes amazing.

Traveled to this location for the first time on Monday, very excited for the all you can eat sushi. So disappointed to learn upon arrival that it no longer exists, even though the reservation we had made online said it was happening. Thankfully we had arrived at 5, so we were able to take advantage of happy hour specials. Staff was extremely friendly and apologetic about the Monday night sushi special changing.
Everything was incredible. Drinks, food, coffee, and desserts were perfectly made. Presentation is gorgeous. Service is immaculate.

All of the food and drinks were amazing, favorite restaurant for sure. Emily was incredible, very nice, helpful and quick. Hope i have the pleasure of her being my server again. Best birthday dinner ever! Was planning on taking pictures of the food but we just couldn’t wait! Here’s a single piece of bang bang broccoli, honestly that dish alone is worth the hour drive the burger, bb broccoli, truffle fries, the rigatoni with the chicken cutlet along with their signature mocktails were phenominal. Can’t recommend this fancy vegan spot more, I always leave full and satisfied. Such a great experience and Emily was a gem. 11/10

Walked in to pick up our sushi box, and I loved the chill vibe the place gives off. Every roll had something unique; the only thing I think I missed was something with a hard crunch. Other than that, this place deserves all the hype.

Have been here twice now, and it has become one of my favorite restaurants in the area. The Japanese mushroom steak, the watermelon tuna poke bowl, the watermelon nigiri, and the Mexican bowl were particularly amazing. (For what it’s worth, I’m a vegan, but my non-vegan girlfriend feels the same way I do about this place.)

I was really looking forward to dining at Planta Bethesda, but my experience was disappointing. I ordered the Bang Bang Broccoli, Cauliflower Wings, and a salad. During dinner, I only ate the Bang Bang Broccoli as an appetizer and the salad as my main course. The broccoli arrived lukewarm instead of hot and was fried extremely hard on the outside with a mushy center. I asked my server about it, thinking it might have been made from frozen broccoli, but they assured me it was fresh.
Unfortunately, after getting home, I began to feel sick and ended up vomiting twice. I’m not sure what went wrong, but it was concerning and not what I expected from a restaurant of Planta’s reputation.

Had a blast at their 1st Sunday brunch event. Our waitress Chris was extremely knowledgeable and recommended some great shareables to try. It was a pleasure to meet the GM Karl and Lee. Very pleasant, warm, and friendly customer care. The music (live DJ) took us through a soulful journey through the early 2000s and into some classic house bangers. Will definitely keep this place on my brunch list.

Food is excellent! A stop everyone should make when you’re in town or just looking for a good place to eat. Vegan or not, you’ll love the food! I’ve eaten the burger, broccoli (smaller than expected though) and volcano and tuna sushi. All excellent!
