Walking in….
the restaurant was clean. Lots of decorations! Giving an authentic Mexican vibe. We were immediately greeted and sat at a table. Drinks came quickly, and food came much faster than expected.
Everything was esthetically pleasing. And everything was delicious.
Our waitress was rude and was talking badly about us. But that’s okay because we are all bilingual, even our children – 5 and 8 years old.
So when you say oh great, I get the white people table, yes we understood!
Even though your service was garbage And no extra drinks were brought to us and you barely checked in once. We still had an amazing meal. THE CHEFS WON THIS REVIEW!! with their amazing food!!
And leaving we still cleaned up after eachother and left a 25$ tip on a 80$ bill.
My favorite part was our waitress barely tried with us because we were white. But being that ive grown up in the hood my whole life i understand older Mexicans be like that it’s just what it is. She was hilariously shocked when we all told her the food was good and we had a great time all in Spanish. Haha. You could tell she knew she messed up but that’s okay we won’t hold it against you.

Our server Lily is THE BEST! Great food, service is always great! Drinks always hit the spot. If you like hot, ask for the hot sauce in the squeeze bottle. You will not be disappointed.

Best food ever. Great food, friendly and fast service, the staff at this place goes above and beyond. Food is fresh and delicious, especially the menudo and their entire menu. Drinks are flavorful and so much more. Place is warm and inviting and clean, plenty of room when dropping in at anytime and little wait time to be seated and when food comes. Overall presentation this establishment is hands down a place to eat.

This is a great locally owned restaurant. I just don’t like many of their recipes. I know a lot of people who prefer this restaurant. For me, tortilla soup and a beef burrito missed and we’ve had enchilada sauce in the past that was sweet? They have amazing chips and salsa.

M wife and I decided to have dinner at Mazatlan in McMinnville, and it was very disappointing. We came in at 5:48pm and didn’t receive our food until 6:50, and my tacos were cold in the middle. Other guest came in 20 min after us and they receive their food before us. We stopped a waiter to let her know my food was cold and instead of apologizing she threw excuses at me and ask if I wanted warmed up, I thought well it’s gonna take another 10min I’ll just eat it. As we were leaving I expressed I was disappointed in how long it took and my food was cold, and all she did it make excuses and tell me that she did offer to warm it up. She Never apologized or offered to credit some of my $19.00 (I had 3 tacos) I will tell everyone I know and never go back.

Frozen vegetable mix cauliflower, broccoli, carrots, bell peppers, onions in shrimp fajitas, frozen over cooked shrimp which was like rubber, sauce tasted like it had a cup of sugar in it, pretty sure it was all micro waved, tortillas were rubbery. Daughter’s food was frozen in the middle and at this point she has been sick to her stomach since we got home the food went right through both of us. Took way too long for them to bring such poorly cooked frozen food to us. Price was not great either. If I could given less than a 1 star I would have. I will never eat there again or recommend it to anyone.
I called and informed them that my daughter and I were sick and they automatically said take it up with our insurance. Then demanded the time we ate there what we ate and if we had a receipt. They did not offer me a receipt and the young man who took our bill was too busy talking to other people when I signed it. Told me I was making very serious accusations and if I was sick I should go to the er. I asked for a refund and he said NO! My daughter and I are both missing a day of work because of this. Who knows who else maybe became ill from that food last night. I saw the lady behind me was eating the same thing I had. I am contacting the county health department.

First time visiting this gem recommended by Google maps as a local favorite. So finding the entrance was a bit confusing; since the parking lot is in the back of the restaurant and the entrance is facing the road. The entrance has a hallway before entering with lots of Windows and 2 doors for exiting and entering. Once inside the check in is arms reach and 2 ladies ready serve. They asked us if we prefer to seat in the booth or table area. We preferred the booth area since we were a family of 5. Restaurant’s carpeted flooring looked vacuumed, tables were clean and wiped down, And all utensils were washed. They served us a large bowl of unsalted chips and 2 mini red tomato salsas to compliment. We got up and headed toward the restrooms and found they provided 2 stalls for both men and women. Both restrooms were stocked up with toilet up, soap, and overall clean stalls and floors. Even though the men’s restroom was undergoing a bit of remodeling (09/16/20). The menus were filled with pictures and easy to understand lists with whole number prices for each dish. Our waitress was very attentive and always checking up on us making sure we needed anything. All dishes were definitely worth the price; being served in very large proportions and hot. Most of the staff were bilingual (Spanish/English) and their manager their was exceptional! Great guy and down to earth. If your into horchata, I highly recommend you try it out here. In total we spent about an hour and half here with a price tag of $90. Not bad for a great time spent with family and food. We come again.
