The Restraunt is small but the atmosphere itself is actually quite quaint and charming. Fresh flowers warm lighting, contemporary clean design, non-disrupting music playing and comfortable booth and table seating.
The quality of the food was amazing. Look, I am asian and its hard to find a place that makes good soulful asian food, like the fried rice. We like it peppery like this place, but even if you dont and ask it not to be, it is good and very fulfilling. The sashimi is very very high quality. They were even open on the snow day when everyone else werent and the only olaces were fast good so what a relief.
The tempura was light and refreshing. Ask the chef to make you something. We did and tou will be glad he did!
If you are looking for a place that is not very expensive, top quality food, great atmosphere, family friendly and great for couples you have to stop by this hidden gem.
We will definitely we repeat customers, so we hope this review helps.

This was my first time here and I had a great experience. I tried the yellowtail and salmon with avocado rolls. The fish was fresh and beautifully presented. I also liked the mochi too. Best I’ve ever had.

Sushi Sakana amazing quality and freshness every time. The sushi is always fresh, portions are generous, and the presentation is clean and appealing. The lunch specials are an excellent value for the price.

Honestly, this is hands down one of the best sushi restaurants in the greater Plano area. Not only is the sushi always prepared fresh and in the open, where you can see, but the workers make sure your experience is always top-notch. They are super friendly and even give free dessert after your meals. I recommend this place to my friends and family all the time.

We finally decried to try this Japanese restaurant after passing by for many years. Great food and great hospitality from the owner Esther. We were very pleased with the attentiveness of the restaurant. We love the daily lunch menu.
Great sushi and I loved my Tonkatsu with curry. We were also amazed by the selection of bento boxes.

This is hands down my favorite sushi spot. The fish is always incredibly fresh, the rolls are creative without being over complicated, and everything tastes consistently amazing every time I come in. You can tell they really care about quality and presentation. The staff is also super welcoming and attentive, which makes the whole experience even better. Whether you’re a sushi regular or trying it for the first time, this place never disappoints. Easily one of the best meals around and definitely my go to whenever I’m craving sushi.

The fish is really fresh, and the hot entrees are flavorful. Portion sizes are great. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They brought us mochi ice cream on the house!
