We just moved here from Texas (where there’s lots of good Mexican) , and we will be regulars at dos amigos! The food is always fresh and so flavorful. The prices are fantastic. The staff is so kind and attentive. We are always looking forward to trying new things on their menu because it is consistently amazing! Highly highly recommend!

Not so hidden gem! Easily to pass this by from the street, but y’all … It’s so good! My family stopped in for dinner and we were impressed with the food and service! It has also comfortable seating and atmosphere is nice and homey.
The food is perfectly seasoned! Not bland like some places here in CR, but not spicy.
The people are super accommodating as well. Definitely felt welcome.
Will be back often.

Amazing breakfast burritos! I get the chorizo to go but have had it smothered and both are top notch. It’s pretty conveniently located right off the interstate and main street. The staff are always friendly and courteous and the food is authentic, fresh, and to order. The horchata is made in house and absolutely delicious. Can’t rave about this place enough!

We used to love this place and would go often. Owner operated and nice.
Now the owners don’t operate. Raised their prices a lot and stopped giving enough salsa for to go orders.
So we stopped going.
The quality is still good aside from some grizzle in the Carne Asada. The tacos are 4” round tortillas. Normal. They used to do 4 tacos deals for $13. Now 4 tacos are $16 but they nickel and dime. Tiny amount of salsa so you have to buy a side of it. So add another $4. Then if you use a credit card you get to pay a 3.25% convenience fee! AT A RESTAURANT!!!!
The Queso Barilla my daughter got was $16 and they use goat meat. Interesting.
So 8 tacos and a queso barilla was $60 out the door! For take out.
I think the convenience fee is BS because when you go to a restaurant you use a CC. The salsa should be enough and part of the meal.
So it’s decent food but the nickel and diming takes away from the overall satisfaction and then also makes it not worth what you’re getting. And on top of all that they want to be tipped for your take out.
All in all it makes it not a good experience. So we started going to a competitor in Castle Rock and found better.

Absolutely worth the few minutes off the interstate. Then Enchilada, Relleno, Taco combo was great. Cheese dip went well with everything. Parking was tight up front but there’s more around the side. Rolled in for dinner and got a very comfy booth. Service and food was fast as you order at counter then sit. Few places to sit outside. Noticed there’s ice cream just across the street..

As a Mexican it’s super hard to find good authentic food, especially in south Denver and with great prices. This place delivers! I had the tacos and from just the first bite of the rice and beans I knew it would be amazing and it was. Highly highly recommend! Great homemade flavors and everything is seasoned really well. I had the agua de Jamaica and it was delicious. Great spot!!! I’ve been craving tacos since I got pregnant and I’m blown away. Will be coming back a lot!!!

Came for lunch and I got breakfast! My burrito was so good but I was disappointed because I ordered sausage and didn’t even see sausage until I was 1/3 of the way and it was a 1/2 of a link. I feel like if I’m paying $1 more I should get sausage throughout the burrito not mostly egg and potato and a link. Hubby got asada burrito and it was good. Loved the green chili it was so good, it’s not spicy for those who don’t like a lot of spice. Love the atmosphere and the staff was very friendly and welcoming! 1st time coming and it wont be our last!

I recently visited Dos Amigos restaurant, and it was an excellent experience! The tacos were perfectly cooked and seasoned just right. The salsa had an amazing flavor that stood out, and the Jamaica water was refreshing and delicious. On top of that, the customer service was fantastic—very welcoming and attentive. I will definitely be coming back for more!
