The overall experience was good but equally underwhelming. They had no choices to choose from with regard to their sausage options. You got the one they were serving. They also have no beef options and I absolutely love beef ribs. After an interesting 20 plus minute conversation we realized our food still hadn’t arrived. Most BBQ places are someone quick because everything is basically ready. Our group was tired of waiting but good company and conversation made it bearable. When you’ve had great BBQ then eat here you quickly taste the difference. Now the customer service, atmosphere and hospitality was top notch and to feed 3 adults was only $54 not including tip.

Ordered for pick up/to-go, and our order was not confirmed during pickup, and came home to find items missing & less/wrong portions.
The worst part was the quality of actual food we DID get, with the most offensive being the “rib tips”. Unless “rib tips” means pork gristle and fat with a few shredded pieces of pork mixed in?
The chopped chicken was mainly dried chicken crumbles, and the pieces that were normal size, were sadly very dry. As for the chopped pork, it was OK, but also on the drier side, with half of what was supposed to be there (what was paid for) and rather than get the rib tip sauce that was requested, we only got their vinegar based BBQ sauce that we are not a fan of.
I called to let them know, and was offered a 15% discount off my next order, to which I just declined, as we already spent all the money on a very sad disappointing dinner.
Note to self: if you go into a restaurant that is completely deserted by 7pm (and you have to wait 5 min for the bar tender to even notify a worker that you’re there)… just turn around and walk away. Oh well, back to Jim & Nicks!

Lunch at Dreamland BBQ was excellent! It was really cool seeing the working smoker pit in the restaurant and seeing them tend to the racks of ribs on the smoker. The ribs, wings, Mac n cheese, baked beans, and desserts were excellent! I recommend the peach cobbler for dessert.

I can’t comment on the service since I ordered through a third party app, but my order just arrived and the ribs were sent without the sauce I specifically ordered. While the ribs were cooked well, they have an acrid, bitter aftertaste that is absolutely disgusting. I can’t tell if it was poor wood choice or just bad fire management, but thirty minutes later, the bitterness is still lingering. I’m sure the sauce would have helped mask the flavor, but a place that bills itself as a BBQ restaurant should be ashamed to send out a product of this quality.

Amazing ribs and sides. These are NOT fall-off-the-bone ribs– they are better than that. This is a whole different style of grilled ribs, with a bit of bite, that you have to experience to appreciate. Ben and company are running a great restaurant. The young man working the bar did a great job and went way out of his way to take care of us. Everything was hot and fresh and cooked to order. Everyone was kind to us. The rib sauce with white bread is heavenly. Stop thinking about it– get in there and try a slab today. You won’t regret it.
