Im not sure what happened to their menudo. Not as good as it use to be.I love the shredded beef mole enchiladas with rice n beans. I edited my previous review. Their menudo used to be soo delicious. Twice we went, it was not good anymore. Will not go back. Sorry Toledos. Get your good menudo back.

I ended up walking out of this restaurant. If you don’t understand what lacing is, I suggest looking it up to get a good idea. Basically, you want to see lacing on your glass of beer as you drink it. No lacing present? You have a dirty glass!!! Well, there was no lacing on my glass of beer! Secondly, there were leftovers on my fork and my wife’s knife. Upon further inspection, which I should have invested some time prior to sitting down and ordering anything, I discovered the restroom was filthy! That’s typically where the employees (are supposed too) wash their hands! 3 strikes, I was outta there! (Photo is us going to another restaurant to eat. Toledo’s wasn’t picture worthy as we were disgusted.) Restaurants should be held to high standards.

This is my dad’s favorite restaurant. We both love the Menudo. The portion is big, and they give you all the fixings. Staff is always polite, service is quick, and the movie on the big screen is always appreciated.

My in-laws chose this spot, so I ordered the shrimp and steak fajitas. Unfortunately, it was mostly bell peppers, onions, and tomatoes, with only four shrimp included. The kitchen also added chicken, and when I asked about it, the manager mentioned that even if I’d ordered just shrimp and steak, I’d still only get four shrimp. It doesn’t make much sense, especially with chicken as a cheaper filler meat compared to shrimp & steak. On a positive note, our waitress was friendly, and the atmosphere was pleasant, but we’re not likely to return.

My husband and I usually come here a few times a month during the evening.. and it has been great. The bar service is on point, and times when we have ordered food, it always tastes great and comes out in a timely manner. Today, we decided to come in for breakfast… and it was the worst experience possible. It took 20 minutes to get ours drinks…. and they weren’t even busy. There was 1 other couple here when we came in. And then when our drinks finally came out, they were placed on a different table… it then took time for the waitress to realize that she gave our drinks to the wrong people. We ordered our food, and then waited almost 40 minutes for it to come out. By then, it wasn’t warm. The food itself was decent, but the service was downright terrible. The waitress also kept forgetting to bring items. Altogether, I would NOT recommend coming here in the morning. The morning crew was slow and unorganized. If you want to have a decent time here, show up during the afternoon/evening hours.
