This is one of our absolute favorite restaurants. The food is absolutely spectacular in authentic to New Orleans. The gumbo is the kind of meal you will want to keep eating long after your stomach tells you it’s full. And the lobster bisque…. OMG good! The staff is always friendly and helpful.

The people are nice. The food was ok. Our table tried a little bit of everything on the menu. The fried seafood platter was the best item out of everything

Compared to everywhere else I ate while in the area The Lost Cajun was by the far the best in quality, price and service. Next time I’m out I’ll definitely be going again. Our server was a younger man who was very accommodating and the service was quick.
Food was some of the best Cajun I’ve had and I currently live down south.

At least, GO for the beignets!!!! Yummmm!!! I wish we had ordered more!
Service was friendly and patient, considering we walked in with 3 thirsty kids and only ordered 3 beignets. It’s appreciated when kindness is given despite the bill size.

I can’t believe the Summit County health department has not been here. Absolutely the dirtiest nasty restaurant that I have ever been in. Down to the baseboard heaters that don’t work to the light fixtures and mold on the ceiling. The food was over cooked and incredibly over priced. Will never go back or recommend. The out of town visitors is the only thing keeping this dump open because after talking to other locals, they know better than to eat here.

Let me preface this by saying my wife is genetically 100% Cajun ancestry and is an outstanding cook. Also, this review is limited to beignets since that’s all we ordered. We went in for an after dinner snacks because it had been awhile since we’d been back to LA and we were craving beignets.
I could tell they weren’t going to be good before I even took a bite. They were 3-4 times the size of an authentic beignet. When I took the first bite, I discovered they were hollow, air-filled pastries. More like a sopapilla than a beignet. The dough also had a bit of an odd flavor which my wife told me was sugar. The dough isn’t supposed be sweet. You have the powdered sugar for that. Overall they just were not good and certainly not authentic. Certainly makes me wonder about everything else on the menu. And note to self: never take your Cajun wife to a place that claims to be Cajun. You are just going to be disappointed.

I had the seafood platter. Fried catfish, fried shrimp (3) and fried oysters (3) french fries and cole slaw. Lots of food and everything was very good except the oysters. They were too chewy. Service was quick, I could sit outside which I enjoyed. The menu has many good items to choose from. I wanted to go back for the gumbo flight but ran out of time.

Maybe it was an off night but literally it was one of the worst food experiences we’ve had in a while.

Let first start with the appetizers, fried pickles weren’t bad, a little thick cut and salty but they’re fried pickles. Also had the hush puppies which is usually a guilty pleasure of warm fried goodness, not these… they tasted as though they had been burned or fried in old oil and on top of it they were dry, sucking the moisture out of our mouths with every bite. Needles to say we did not finish either.

Next we had the jambalaya, seafood gumbo, and lobster bisque. I’ll say the lobster bisque was delicious and worth every penny. The seafood gumbo wasn’t bad it had good flavor and overall a solid dish. Then there was the jambalaya, not much nice can be said about it. It tasted old, the rice was hard and barely edible. The meat in the jambalaya had the same old “sitting around” flavor, it was anything but fresh. Definitely don’t understand how a place like this has anywhere near 4.5 stars.
