Ordered on the kiosk to dine in. Waited 35 minutes for our food. When we finally got it our 2 large fries were half full. One of them was soggy and unsalted. Wouldn’t be so upset about waiting so long if the food was hot, fresh, and my fries were salty and full.

Went through later at night. Even though the location was advertised as 24 hours, they had the drive thru lanes closed. When I went to the windows, the manager told me that they were “closed for cleaning.” I’ve worked at mcdonalds. Cleaning doesn’t take 8 hours. Cleaning doesn’t keep you from making orders. Cleaning is typically done by every shift, with at least one grill running. It felt like they were just throwing away sales because they wanted an easier shift. I’m going to have to stick with other fast food companies now when I’m in Marshalltown.

I went through Marshalltown drive through this morning and the young Hispanic girl giving the food out has no personality at all. I’ve been there a few times and she never smiles or says anything and practically throws your food at u. Very bad customer service skills. Doesn’t make a person feel welcome or feel like coming back. Learn how to be decent to people besides we the customers are the reason u get paid and have a job and by all means get a personality cause urs suck!!!

Lately they have been messing up orders BADLY for me and the teens there are pretty rude. Went in the other week to get a snack wrap meal and they give me just fries and then proceeded to tell me to wait at the next window. No biggie. I was for over 5 minutes and after nearly a dozen cars go by, I go in and when I said I was told to wait at the next window and hadn’t gotten my snack wraps, a bunch of ladies, who look like they’re 20ish start to tell the older gentlemen that “We already gave him his snack wraps, he already has them.” Uh no I don’t. Why would I be in here if I didn’t get them? He finds them and tells me “They didn’t know who was gonna the one to take it out.” Excuse me? It’s not rocket science to have one out of maybe 6 people to walk to the other window and hand me my snack wraps! Not to mention the ladies never even apologized for basically trying to gaslight me by saying I got my food when I didn’t. -_-
Then que 10 minutes ago. I get home from ordering a quarter pounder with cheese and the drink tastes horrible and ALL the sodas/drinks except the water tastes horrible. No biggie, I’ll just get water. I get home and sit down to eat and my quarter pounder is ONLY MEAT ON BUNS. No ketchup, cheese, pickles or sliced onions. ONLY. THE. PATTY. ON. BUNS! I could understand if it was just the meat with cheese. Fine. But a PLAIN PATTY on buns? When I ordered it with basically everything but mustard? What the hell? I don’t normally write these reviews but this is getting ridiculous. They need to get their staff situated and have them prepare their meals better cause missing food/ingredients on meals is outrageous.

Ordered breakfast burritos and asked for salsa. Got a friendly “yep!” at the speaker, so I had high hopes.
Got home, opened the bag… no salsa anywhere. The burritos were perfectly fine, but they’re just not the same without that little kick.
It’s a small thing, but it does make a difference in the morning. Would’ve been a solid meal with the salsa I asked for. Hope next time it makes it into the bag!

If you are in a hurry, go elsewhere. This location is very very slow. Using the drive thru with 2 cars in front of me, it took almost 30 mins. The the two cars only had a few items and I only ordered 10 nuggets and small fries. The fries were cold and all shriveled, which means they were not cooking or waiting on them. The cashier at the window was awful. He shouldn’t be working the window. Can barely hear him and he kept saying “wait” or “hold on”.
It’s a big disappointment and a disaster quick food for the kiddo on the way home.

I put in a curbside order and they did not bring my food out to me. I waited 25 almost 30 minutes in lot four. I go in there and my food is made, but they said that the app did not show I was here. My food is ice cold I did not pay for ice cold food. When I go to fast food places, I expected to be warm, they did not offer to remake it. So now I have to go home and heat it up in my microwave would be to the point of going out to McDonald’s in the first place to get warm food. Horrible service

Staff were incredibly weird. Manager was screaming to his staff after my boyfriend gave me a few forehead kisses…. “whistlin and dixin out here” “why the hell we whistlin and dixing around out here” multiple times. We were filling our sodas not understanding exactly this man was saying with a thick accent and weird slang was, as he continued yelling it in the empty restaurant to his staff?? Very inappropriate and concerning? Fries were cold and gross but we booked it out of there.
